also Kamiki/Shin Burning Gundam's design is a homage to the Sunrise anime "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" particularly the red samurai's armor known as "Rekka".

I said I was going to get it. So I'll be getting it. The downside is the sword like they intended for you to color it whatever color you desire. I will need look the previous version to make sure they match up.

I find it fun imagining it like Gundam The End about custom paper/silk cloth cutout instead of clear plastic cloak.

Glad Bandai is trying to improve effect parts but if they have seam lines, flow lines and mold lines and you can't sand those without messing up the part, that's kind of a deal-breaker for me.

I like the designs of the Kamiki Burning, and this one looks great! I did not expect the cloak mode to be a sort of parts-formation.

I prefer to use up all the items for a build. The extra effect parts do look nice, but I might not get it for they won't be used and stay in the box.

The beam sword maybe some kind of flame energy that's why the handle is not metal

Do the clear part have a resin feel or are they like normal clear parts quality wise

Feel totally like normal clear parts. I honestly don’t know what’s “resin” about them. It really feels like just iridescent pigment mixed in the plastic. But it looks cool!

Big fan of anything Kamiki Sekai, and this one is no different. If there's one thing I don't like, it's probably the cloak mode, the stiff bars over the shoulder just looks ugly and looks more like hangar restraints.

Those parts are kind of ugly, so you have to look at it from certain angles to really look cool

Just the off-kit topic. It might be greasy manufactured sockets, great idea to clean it with buds before inserting shoulder joints. Mine with polycap-modular ball joint on my Winning Fumina are very tight grip on plastic. Just adjust the shoulder joints deeper in the sockets for tight fit.

I love everything about this except its price. Why is a HG at the 30$ mark? Aren't they usually 10-20? Is it the effect parts?

I would guess that yes, the effect parts add to the price. Honestly it shouldn’t add that much, but Bandai… 🤷‍♂️
