I think the clear parts aren't made to shine under UV light, they're intended to glow in the dark.
Things that glow in the dark are inherently UV reactive; it's the same chemical mechanism, it's just that things that glow in the dark emit light over time, while things that are merely fluorescent emits its light immediately, with no storage action.

The HG 00 Gundam was widely considered the pinnacle of HG engineering for a few years. Even as its level of articulation became somewhat more common in HG, it was the gold standard for a while. It basically revolutionized HG articulation and introduced the same basic joint structure that modern HGs use, just replacing more and more polycaps with plastic over the years.
So much so in design that 00 was reused so many times after

I think the resin can catch regular light better than clear plastic which uses it's color more than clearness to pop
I have so many HG 00s and got both the vanilla Diver and the one with the Diver Ace. Didnt get the 00 Skys (all of them) as i didn't had cash for those when they came out (and arent at stock where i am). Then this was announced and now released. I am cursed to get a 00 and the Divers. But hey, its definitely the best looking 00 Diver of the three we have.
I Especially love the Arm Blades, and the fact that the GN Drives are now actual weapons. GN Drive Buster Swords go swoosh.

I went to the gundam base siam for my birthday today and picked up an exclusive clear version of kyrios, they also released a new lah gundam and a very cool crystalline unicorn gundam for around 40 bucks
They made a good call revisiting the 00 Diver instead of making another variant of the 00 Sky. For one, there are just a lot of 00 Sky kits already. But from an upgrade angle, take it from someone who tried, it is nearly impossible to noticeably improve on the 00 Sky Moebius. It's already a near-perfect kit, and all I could really do to upgrade mine was change the color scheme and add the knee-mounted GN Katars from the 00 Seven Sword. Instead, they brought it back to basics, and brought a ton of potential out of the 00 base. The new shoulder parts are amazing, I love that the chest is styled after the Age line, and the arm bracers are pretty tight, too. I also applaud the decision to add a bit of orange to the color scheme, it complements the blue perfectly. As much as I am a shameless shill for Core Gundam, this might actually be my favorite out of the Metaverse kits.
I've been told fairly recently that clear green plastic fluoresces and catches more light if you topcoat them with matte
The clear effect part can be more shiny or i should say show up more in black light or UV light,if you polish them with tamiya compound,they definitely shows out more

Change the blue to a darker hue and we have an Age 2 Magnum color custom.
Even if they are prone to being almost plastic hand grenades, I simply love the 00 Diver Ace and 00 Sky. And, as soon as I can, I'm getting this 00 Dover Arc. I just love the unique takes/gimmicks with the GN Drives

This is the only build metaverse kit I'm interested in getting currently
I was on awe with the weaponry I mean imagine if they can Trans-Am as swords. Until I realised that if you lost the buster swords or got disarmed in the middle of combat, won't you just runout of GN Particles ?
Skill issue
Well I am building a similar kit which has funnels with independent gn drives the key is to have enough gn drives so they are semi-disposable that’s why in the manual it says 1 buster sword so you still have the other gn drive while dual wielding gn buster sword is rad it’s both far from practical and not very useful

Honestly, I doubt there is any rules that would inhibit a person from "modifying" their Gundam like that.
My personal thought is exia plus OO, so a GN drive at the back, plus the two on the shoulders. Not sure what to call that.
Are the clear parts in this and the burning plastic or clear resin like in conversion kits?

You should consider reviewing the in era+ brand, their kits are so absurdly good from the get go especially rhe thunderbolt, i'd say 3rd party kits are getting better and better fadter than what bandai could offer

I saw a ramba ral custom zaku i without weapons, don't know if ill buy it or not since i dont know if it's going to bo compatible with zaku ii kits specialy the body since their articutaded and ramba ral zaku i is not.
I like the color and design. It is the best 00 variant.

For smaller kits I actually think the “Tamashii Stage ACT HUMANOID” stands are a little better than the Goodsmile ones. They are around the same price comparatively. The come in sets of two and have a smaller profile and are more articulated. With the Goodsmile stands I find myself running out of space quiet quickly because of their large profile base.

Should of been gold i have the old 00 seven sword and i just glued the plastic in the joint and now it is so sturdy its a simple kit to fix I don’t personally get it
I thought the clear resin parts were like glow-in-the dark plastic which is not a new thing in Gunpla as they were first used in the old SD Gundam kits.
NGL, this kit looks special imho
the sculpt of the main body seems good overall, but i dont like fins on the backpack. not a fan of the shapes of the effect parts for the gn drives and the ball c-lip in the gn drive section either. its a shame that riku consistently forgoes the GN sword III in his designs
And when will we get a new GN Sword III, my favourite Gundam weapon? It only comes in one kit per grade.

meh I'd argue that the old HG 00 gundam is fine as it is even if you slap new pieces on top of it and giving it a revive will serve no sense to the s2 00 cb gundams as those gundams were already superb on their own right.... I'd say give the revive stuff to the s1 00 cb gundams and slap whatever new stuff on top of it for any build series (specifically gundam exia and it's build variants)
also there's an adapter in the action base 4 & 5 that will allow certain MS to do the over-the-top hovering in the air pose like a god, meaning that you can skip using the claw adapter to avoid those mishaps

It does seem like Bandai sometimes focuses on kitbashing potential rather than make new models. Maybe the price is good enough to justify buying, but the main build, not so much.

I think Riku built this gunpla AFTER the 00 Sky and before he built the Moebius in Build Divers Re:RIZE, BUT this is what I don't like about crossover shows like what they did with METAVERSE, it just MUDDIES EVERYTHING UP and makes it all confusing, yeah METAVERSE was a awesome show, but it did have some flaws in it, because Riku and the rest of Build Divers don't look ANYTHING like their Re:RIZE selves, those guys looked to be about 15 years old compared to the Riku in the first Build Divers series where he was only to be about 13 years old.

The color of those orange parts is... suspicious. If it's the same orange as the Arios or Harute then it should glow under UV light. You really should buy one, a tiny UV flashlight is literally 2 dollars! Maybe 5. Plus shipping.
I get so upset that this is kinda what the 00quant could have been. Mostly the arm bracer blades.

That "resin" is almost guaranteed plastic my dude. It's not organic tree resin. If you look up bandai switching materials, it's obvious they're doing stunts like using tea leaves, egg shells and lime stone as cutting materials in order to mitigate the image of being a dirty and naughty naughty plastic producer.
In reality if a person has ANY qualms with the fact that they are indeed driving "unnecessary" plastic production (provided you believe joy and hobbies aren't necessary), then they are already morally obligated to not buy or support things like this.
I find it hard to believe that's resin, resin dust is extremely toxic so I doubt Bandai would ever use it
Not all resin is toxic there’s some plant based resins that are non toxic
