  • Something a lot of people may not know about YETI Rambler's is that their lids are NOT insulated.
If you get a YETI water bottle and notice that the ice is melting quicker than you expected, this is because of the lid. The bottle however is very much insulated keeping your liquids hot/cold all day long. But if you're hoping for that extended temperature regulation, YETI offers a lid that is 100% insulated that's sure to keep your liquids hot/cold for days to come.

I have been looking to buy a lid for my yeti 26oz rambler and your the first person that's clearly told me that the chug cap isn't insulated and has provided me with an alternative. The chug cap certainly isn't insulated because when i take the bottle out of my bag the top section of the bottle is shedding so much heat it actually works great as a hand warmer. I have now gone out and bought the hotshot cap, thanks.

The worst lid on the yeti rambler is the mag dock that has no insulation! The original lid yeti first came with was fully insulated and its really surprising yeti stopped making it in favour of the chug cap without insulation? Now if yeti could fully insulate the chug cap that would be something else!
This is the first review ive ever seen that has addressed this issue !

Yeti should have kept the original insulated bottle lids as an accessory. I do love the chug top though.
