I just purchased the Yeti roadie 24 for a lunch box and work outside everyday like I believe you do. Currently using a Walmart igloo and cannot keep the lunch meat cold until its time for lunch. Hope I made a good choice. It was hard to justify the price. Do you still use yeti as a lunch box? Thanks

You should send it back to yeti and let them know the zipper broke and they will replace it

You could, but it might melt depending on how hot it is.
