@@Insomnia1234o00o I don't think it has been stated what destroyed the Fury's homeworld, but they manage to beat the Ruina and seal them in Fabula Fores before they went to sleep (probably because earth is a blasted hellscape no one can live on after the Fury-Ruina War)

Some of them were saved because the cross gate weren’t fully functional and the blast from the malfunctioned gate sent the fleet scatter across the galaxy. After they arrived at Earth, they discovered another cross gate located at the South Pole. This time they constructed their end game weapon, the throne machine Granteed. They were able to seal the cross gate but suffered even more loses. Almost all of their knights perished saved for a few, and the entire race went into cryo sleep. All in all, they were already on their last legs and the entire race was dying out. Ruina on the other hand, has infinite numbers because Perfectio has immeasurable power.

Because that would mean Perfectio can just travel through realspace from whatever's left of the Fury homeworld to Earth, and the Fabula Fores (which is a prison, btw, with only one door, which is the Antarctic Crossgate) would not work to hold him down

Yuuki Terumi is a cheap knock-off of THIS guy, who's both been around for longer(Perfectio's been rockin' despair since the GBA days) AND more powerful(that guy driving that mech? Posessed by Perfectio, who is so powerful he can't actually bring his whole power forth without causing very bad things to happen to the world he's trying to enter).

I think you underestimate how people hyped up Terumi as the best thing ever and the most original villain ever and shoving it down to everyone's throats in a most annoying troll fashion ever (if anything, Perfectio is not a troll. There lies the chief difference). I dunno how it is now, I'm no longer part of that fandom despite holding a fire for BlazBlue. But there are a few grounds of comparison, you can find despair-spreaders characters in any genres. Even murder mysteries have one (Junko from Danganronpa).
