The virgin afk farmer: get in a spot that invaders can't reach.
The gigachad afk farmer: cosplays an enemy and hides in plan sight until they give up.
Honestly there’s nothing wrong with that imo. It’s way more creative and it’s not like you can’t find them/get to them.
It rly baffles me that fromsoft disabled mounts in pvp.. it would be the perfect addition to pvp, be it only in certain zones to have the option to fight without it.

@@vortexian2390 no it is the chasing. Chasing would be a nightmare mounted. Personally I want super jump and double jump spells that only works when phantoms are in your world so that you can still reach areas normal only torrent can get to when in co-op/ for invaders to counter AFK spots. THAT would be a fun fix to the AFK problem.
Prop hunt and spy gaming are always the best forms of "afk" farming
1:50 this entire encounter is hilarious. He tanks a full 4-5 hits without rolling back, finally rolls back, and then CHARGES COMET AZUR while the enemy is RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Meta users.

@@solaireofastora7766 It’s a good follow up spell if you use something more practical before using the Comet Azur. Like Wave of Gold so they’re distracted so you can charger them Comet for example.

Yeh, as others have replied, you now show as the host on invaders compasses, and you can have their name above their head permanently as an option I believe? I do think that crouching though, or using items to hide you like the veil thing, gets rid of these.
It baffles my mind how people don’t just walk around and occasionally tap the lock-on button to see if people are around.
That blows my mind too, like why is it so hard to push a single button?

I KNEW IT WASNT MY IMAGINATION. At 6:51 When the invader swings his weapon, it swings UP in the air. Noticed this happening to me on my Str Build where I'd just miss point blank.
It’s a bug. It happens when the opponents hit connected on their screen even though you hit first…
Horizontal swings can be modified on the vertical too, based on camera. If you look up when doing a lateral swing with a huge sword for example, you'll miss if the mob is half your size, even point blank.
@@usernameemail Yeah, but that shit went ALL the way up lol I've noticed this happening to me in PvE as well. Camera straight. Going for 3rd R1. Greatsword does some fucky vertical miss.... Hopefully it's fixed in this patch
@@spadesofhearts7714 i know exactly what you mean. I used colossal weapons in my playthrough and switched to.... funky stuff for pvp after beating the game. I want to say ive seen this once on the claymore, but i think im wrong. To my knowledge only colossals do this. Ive even seen it in pvp against an enemy, we traded but only my hit connected and his sword went wonky.
Could have to do with what zulie the witch discovered about jumping on torrent with certain melee weapons. Weapons held over the shoulder won't allow you to double jump from a fall without jumping first. I don't design games and have no clue why the weapon swings upwards at times, but its just another reason collosals aren't that great in ER.

The thing that makes this so much harder than it was in the dark souls 2 video waaaaay back in the day (video's called hiding in plain sight, forgot who the op was but someone else apparently uploaded it and it only has like 3k views, definitely check it out for sure). In dark souls 2, in the first main area forest of fallen giants, the soldier's there are basically player-sized. In this game almost (if not all) humanoid mobs are much, much taller than the player, so it's a lot more obvious in this game when you do these shenanigans than it was in previous games, not even counting the dot showing the hosts location (which doesn't go away until you get decently close so it's not hard to pinpoint which "mob" is fake). Either way it's amazing how many people fall for this even to this day. Beautiful content.

I like wearing the full mushroom suit and hiding in mushroom hills in Caelid. The curl up into ball emote and rest emote are amazing for turning into a mushroom bush. But you have to hide your feet and legs kinda. Some dude even walked on top of me and I punched him in the back. Can you do a video on this pretty please? I think you'll have fun too.

I've had way too much fun with this idea alone. I usually wait till they've walked aways away and hit them with either ballista or great bow. Just so I can hide in plain view somewhere else as an npc.

I don't get why some of these people searched. If you aren't invisible from the chameleon item or the invisible crouch talisman the compass literally shows where the host is.

When I heard Gene's Rock-a-bye play, I knew I was in for a treat.
One of the things I would say is to not use NPCs, as they appear as white ghosts for everyone except the host. So the invader who turned into a flag with the merchant around 8:40 would see almost instantly that you were host.

That's my one and only real complaint about Elden ring is how hard it is to Ragdoll the bodies around, when an enemy pisses me off to no end, the first thing I think about doing after I kill it is pushing it off a cliff, they made it harder
Second video since getting Elden Ring, question. Do you think it's better than DS3? Because I have been playing it for a hot minute and I've noticed some minute details that throw me off. Like how if your running and you try dodging for some reason despite me knowing I hit that roll, it just doesn't do it.
