I believe ( if I'm not incorrect) Steve merkle from merkle media ( great podcast) is charging to show the don't call me Bigfoot doc. I hope I misunderstood that and I'm incorrect about him charging.
My grandmother was part Cherokee. She grew up in Hiawassee near Fodder Creek. I would spend the summers on the farm. She always told me to never go in the woods alone, stay close to the house, never go outdoors after dark and to close the curtains at night. She called it the booger man and he would take people away. One summer when I had gone up to the farm, they had a big "pole light" installed close to the house. She said it was to help keep the booger man away at night. I believed her.
Live here in Wilcox County and i have saw black panthers on 3 occasions and my wife saw one of the same one's the next day...if a 50+ pd cat can live almost unnoticed what do you think a creature such as Bigfoot with human level intelligence and superior physical senses and abilities can do!!!!
Well Dr Melba Ketchum has done DNA of the Sasquatch and said that it came from the mom being human female and the father is of unknown.
What Europeans call folklore the native people probably called history.

I called one up while turkey hunting in the Oconee National Forest by the Okmulgee River. I think he thought I was a hen turkey. Hear my encounter on Creek Devil episode 144. I would love to tell my story to you. I had no thought at all that it was a big foot until it started acting crazy just feet in front of me. I originally thought it was another turkey hunter. A giant one until I realized the limb it ducked under was still 6in above my head. I am 6ft 2in. It had to be just over seven feet tall. Hair was kind of gray. We both scared each other. I could have shot him, he could have charged me. I still remember every second of that encounter.

They are in Georgia. Saw one on a clear cut less than 50 yards a way on 3/18/2019. So satisfying to know the truth for myself.
Wouldn't other peoples stories be enough.? So if you tell somebody you saw something they would think your a liar ?

I have seen some things that I could not explain also. I have seen 3 of them cloaked in my pasture or they just blened in with the broomsage. All that I could make out was three different set of big green eyes the size of big sunglasses and they were iluminescent. I have also heard something on my roof of my house and went to check and a big orangeish red orb took off the time I got my head turned around. Also structures in the woods that I could not explain.

Haha, being born and raised in Georgia, I can tell you that many people talk like this. We start down one path, remember something, then next thing you know instead of a simple story you have an epic re-telling of Life in general.
Georgian here, we literally have an entire museum dedicated to bigfoot in suwanee GA. Ive been several times. Its not a really big museum, but its PACKED with bigfoot artifacts and information. I recommend visiting if you wnd up in that area of North GA
It is a nice little place with a lot of evidence and research adventures of all the earlier pioneers of Bigfoot research.
As a Georgian, I felt compelled to watch. I'm amused by this and certainly do understand that a professor needs to discuss this subject delicately. This used to be a taboo topic in the academic world. I imagine it still is for the most part, but there are countless 1000s of eyewitness accounts to their existence. There is no question as to whether they exist... they most certainly do. The real questions to be answered are they capable of invisibility, telepathy, etc. These creatures have abilities that are beyond most of our willingness to fathom. I'm absolutely fascinated by this subject.

I enjoyed this for several reasons. I’m originally from Albany and had a childhood experience near Camilla, Ga in the early 1970s, roughly halfway between Camilla and Sale City. Also, my maternal grandmother was muscogee creek and the bigfoot (she called it something like Tsu Kalu) was definitely a part of the belief system and traditional storytelling.
I'm from that part of the woods. Hartsfield never saw one though
In 1977, I met the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Her name was Janice, and she was from Camilla. Anytime I hear of Camilla, Georgia, I always think of her. Beautifully tanned, brunette. She was the first girl I ever saw wearing a gold ankle bracelet. Ohhh Lord! Be still my heart!!

I'm from Georgia too and listening to him speak takes me back to my childhood of sitting around and listening to the "elders" tell their stories. We don't tend to get in a hurry when story mode hits, haha.

I listen to everything at 2X speed, the slower somebody talks the better.
Four sightings in just one heavily forested County in northeast Texas. Giant, far-apart, very deep footprints, some with dermal ridges, if made in silt, are pretty hard to credibly dismiss out of hand. Too many reliable, non-flaky people who had ZERO reason to lie have related their experiences with these things.
Also, they are sighted along powerlines
@@prissypants2336 Just speculating, but that MIGHT be because it's more of a clear line of sight, in the long gaps in the forest through which the power lines run. Since Hunters probably watch these utility line clearings, while looking for game, they may simply spot these Sasquatch there, whereas they'd be HARDER to spot, in dense foliage. I also note that some sightings have been in broad daylight, and in either open fields or in relatively SPARSE woods. The latest sighting, by two adults in this East Texas county was in a sparsely forested roadside area not far from a small town, whereas MUCH of that county has SUPER-DENSE forest, so it's not like the Sasquatch had nowhere to hide out, unobserved.
In Georgia, one very interesting fellow who had first hand encounters which he filmed or videoed, on a regular basis was Robert Dodson. Sadly, Robert died too early, like many Big Foot researchers, but he did post much of what he recorded and experienced, on his you tube channel.
He was freaking awesome. He was the doppelganger of my father. Twins separated from birth. Was just as painful when passed as he was kinda a surrogate dad if you will. Great man! Taken too early.
There was a tall race of humans who lived in North America along with Indians, there skeletons are found all over.
If these things exist and I just don’t think thousands of people are lying ….then they have to be coming out of a portal… there’s no way something that big could stay hidden…it’s just not possible for them to hide in the woods and appear and disappear… thanks for the video… awesome

1:37: Watching “In Search Of” as a kid both scared the crap outta me and got me into a life-long wonder of the mysterious.
I have experienced tree shaking, branch breaking, wood knocks, rock throwing, rock clacking, screaming, found a huge poop. Found one track, heard two talking to each other in the woods, ive also had gifting, twice. Now it gets weird. .. ive also experienced telepathy, psychic visions, lucid dreams about sasquatch as well as, poking and tapping at home and while camping. Ive also felt a buzzing vibe (goose bumps and skin shivers) when close to them. I think they are doing that psychically, not infrasound. Lastly, i had a close encounter sighting in 2013 while camping in a wild area.
Sasquatch are Adepts, mahatmas and wise sages. They are the ultimate ascetics and live wild in our forests. Their psychic abilities will astound you. Their elders have an almost a complete mastery over consciousness. They can speak telepathically, effect your dreams, give you psychic visions (project images), remote view, astral project and yes even cloak. How do they do it? .... look up the yogi siddhis... meditation, breath work and focus on the ajna chakra are important practices to achieve these abilities.
I've seen and heard things near Reidsville and Fargo Georgia in the swamp.

Its crazy. I live in benhill county and i have seen one 2 times. Once in 2002, and another in maybe 2012. No lie.
I live in Berrien County and had one hit my house and growl at me just after we moved in. Guess it didn't want us in his woods.
I know of this girl who waits till dark and walks down these long forests trails and walking paths ,she hears them through footsteps, growling ,sounds and they are very real ,she leaves gifts but she feels threatened and gets very scared begging them to just let her leave back out the way she has come ,I watch her and it makes me very scared for her safety, because she goes alone ,her name is Dee and her videos are Dee's Adventures

It always amazes me that they can make a satellite with a camera that can take a picture of a penny laying in the middle of a four lane highway from 80 miles up in space so clear you can read the date, but they can't make a trail cam that can take a clear picture of Bigfoot from 20 yards away.
To be fair....pennies lying on the ground don't tend to be nocturnal, use natural camouflage, or have almost human like intelligence (allegedly) to avoid being detected. But yes, I do see your point to a certain degree.
Maybe the government has seen them and hidden the truth from the public due to mass hysteria.

My biggest issue with Bigfoot is the absence of bones. And if they have burial rituals, they are very very very good at burying their dead. I would have thought that archaeological digs would have uncovered ancient Bigfoot remains too. As nutty as it sounds, perhaps inter-dimensional travel could explain a lack of skeletons? That would make 2 mysteries you’d have to believe in.
Lol maybe they're made of all cartilage and protein hence the agility of a super natural being also they're more empathetic to their deceased like marines no beast left behind

My husband is from Valdosta area and we absolutely think there would be sasquatch around Fargo, GA area. Clinch county and the counties surrounding are heavily forested and barely any cell phone service to where its hard to make a call even.. years ago there was a logger working in the woods near Fargo, one day he disappeared from his "cut down" machine deep into the woods, and the only thing left behind was blood in the cab. Still no body and unsolved. This is 1 of many true stories. Word of advice, dont go to this area unless you are passing through or have family.
I think I heared about that incident. It's been many moons ago but I do remember hearing someone talk about that logger who went missing. " Very Strange !!
We are not short on stories, a lot of people have them. What we are short on is physical proof.

I am not "anti-science," and I think approaching this subject from a scientific perspective is a good thing overall. However, there are reports of strange phenomena associated with sightings and encounters of these beings that don't fit within a scientific-rational framework. It is dismissive to disregard such reports as intentional lies, mistaken perceptions, or tricks of the mind. I say this as someone who has experienced unknown phenomena and entities that defy any scientific explanation.

The universe is mysterious and anything is possible! Just keep your mind open and never assume anything! But trust your senses and be familiar with you gut feelings! Always proceed with caution.

Yes Indeed I saw one when I was growing up ,on my Granddaddy's Farm in Northeast Georgia Columbia County on Russell Creek Road when I was going to the mailbox to pick up mail, I told Grandma that I saw this black thing she asked me where was it I told her down the road from the mailbox ,she told me oh that ain't nothing but that old hate, she asked me which way did it go I told her it just step across the road and went across to the bushes.Oh by by the way now that I'm older I'm retired I can think of a lot of instances that was unexplained.
The incident in 1955 that he talks about sounds like it could have been a Dogman...IF they exist. Definitely not a Sasquatch or "HogBear😂"

They are in the southwest as well. Native "stories" should be taken seriously. Minds are changed when the nah sayers get out in the middle of nowhere and come face to face with a story. My advice, being a former skeptic, be careful what you wish for...

Many native american tribes and indigenous people interacted directly with the sabè . There alot of records of this thru rock art as so is the star people. This gentleman seems to know a lot about Bigfoot, but he does say, _"If it's real",_ quite a few times. It doesn't feel like he truly believes the stories he has been told.
Most people wont believe wholeheartedly until they lay eyes on one. I honestly cant blame them.

He’s a scholar. In the interview says He is Currently is a professor at Georgia Military College. He believes otherwise IMO wouldn’t have wrote the book and done all this research if He didn’t. However, He is aware to be taking seriously in the world of Academia, He has to be careful what He says.
