It is off. And it has a terrible finish, I can spot the orange peel in B rolls.

They need to retune the engine, change the tank styling and a different rear section...otherwise its another modified speed 400
A proper example of Modification gone wrong
Change headlights to look like CF moto Papio SS.
& lower ride hight to Bonneville T100.
CF moto nailed retro modern 90's look.

My "heavy" expectations from Triumph with Thruxton 400,
Apart from the usual updates required in this style:
+ They update the speedo console to twin pod style (like we have on RE GT650, Benelli Imperiale 400)
+ More paint schemes, esp a chrome one (like MrClean on RE GT650)
+ Tubeless spoke wheels
+ And again price this perfectly like Speed400 (for instance, they can price this near about Scrambler400X)
+ Also I would like a different state of engine map-tune and/or a different final drive ratio

"We Rode The Triumph Thruxton 400????" Those question marks made me feel like you guys are behaving like some media channels. I don't expect such click-baity titles from PD. 👎
Maybe just reposition the rider footpegs, replace the bar with clip ons. That substantially converts the Speed 400 into a mini Thruxton. I prefer the looks of the Thruxton without any front cowl. An official factory Thruxton will have more styling tweaks than just that. But a home conversion would be complete with the fueling tuned by an ECU flash or another fueling gizmo, just to increase the sporty nature of the engine.
