It’s ironic, because in the episode with the school art fair, Brendon, Jason, and Melissa do a musical production number about how great rice is.
one of my fav. parts of this episode is the 'fairy princess training' session.

I love how happy Fenton looks when he's in bed with Brendon. This is like one of the best episodes. If only it had more Walter and Perry...
I honestly think home movies is one of the greatest shows not just because its hilarious but also because all the episodes are on youtube and have yet to be taken off! Viva Home Movies!

I remember relating soo hard to brenden staying fentons as a kid. Sleeping over certain kids houses was absolute hell. Parents giving kids prison life at home.
I stayed at a friends house once with this one other guy. Three rambunctious boys total. After a sit down meal at the table, we went to Blockbuster to rent a movie. Wound up getting the first season of Invader Zim.
Upon returning to the house, the dudes dad used his fancy home theater setup (regular sized tv) to set a time limit for how long the TV would stay on.
He set it for one hour, then went to bed.
We watched until the time ran out, and the TV turned off.
Then we turned the TV back on and kept watching. Parents woke us up at like 8 am the next day and told us we had to leave. (It was Saturday).
Good times.
One of my friends told me about a kid he knew named Ben, and whenever his mom dumped my friend over at Ben's house, he ended up just doing all the house chores with him and the only fun he had was watching Ben play Halo 2 (he wouldn't let him play)
It makes me glad I didn't have "sleepovers" until I was in the 8th grade

It's funny when Brendon Small uses things from Home Movies in Metalocalypse. Like, Lynch being drugged up in the hospital and in a wheelchair, swearing at everyone. And this idea of a floating head that says "G-G-G-GOOD-BYE!" (with nearly the same voice). Damn, awesome.
I love the selling lessons that lady is giving Melissa. That's Coach McGuirk's voice actor lmao
