Had a friend in China eho works in textile and told me that some large factories will train newer employees and they will make small mistakes at first and those pairs will be sold as reps. Most companies still profit off of reps. I definitely don't mind paying a fraction of the price for a tiny slip up that is unnoticeable. Still paid a good price for the gauva ice reps and you can't even tell they're reps.
