    Just from watching 3:33 point. My game improved so much just from watching Zhang Jike's forehands.

      And with your perceived improvement probably also came wrist injury. Referring to a pro’s form is beneficial, but trying to replicate them is like a honda civic trying to replicate a muscle car. You will get injured. Hell, even Zhang Jike himself with all the conditioning and certainly insane amounts of physical care done for him was still prone to injuries due to his playstyle and form.

    • @bentonxavier5094
      @bentonxavier5094 Před 2 lety

      @@user-lq2nu6cn7y it was about the fact that Zhang Jike is playing his forehands like they're nothing. I can't get the same technique as him but just from looking at his body language to the game, he is so relaxed and he's not even thinking about his forehand topsins. I simply applied that to my game and I improved.

    Samsonov would have been the best chopper of all time. Better than JSH.This blocking game works wonders at the amateur level.you win tournament after tournament because most of your opponents make a lot of errors while attacking. This gives most players with a block and control based playing style the idea that they will be equally successful at PRO level. Dont work that way. Better being a quirky chopper than a blocker at pro level.
