Legend. I thought there was something wrong with my keyboard. It would light up if I plugged it into a charger usb, but not when I connected it to my computer. However it would still type. This tricked fixed it. So thank you so much.

yeah mines not setting up my mac, but i got a super similar set, so the lights arent a big deal, little annoying though becuase all the lights light up when i plug it in, but that scroll lock is only controlling brightness on my ***mac***, even if i try pressing shift, ect

It does work on my tablet, but not on my laptop. Both are Android devices, and the port on my laptop works perfectly fine

On the box it should advertise the LED backlight function or RGB function. Also read the manual. If it says nothing about turning on the LED backlight/RGB lights then your keyboard doesn't have that functionality

I can't get Control+Shift+Z to work which is the "Redo" command in many software applications. I was loving the keyboard, especially for the price, until I realized this wasn't working. I hope I can find a work around for it. If not, then oh well. I got what I paid for.

My mouse (made by Bytech), is not working. It was working before and on my screen it is frozen in one spot. Yet, it is plugged in, turned on, and i have NEVER found a video that explains this, only wireless mouses. I have unplugged and plugged the mouse’s USB and the PC itself but it still, after countless times DOES NOT WORK AND STAYS THE SAME WAY.

How do you connect the keyboard to iPad?
You will need a usb to lighting adapter. This adapter will allow you to connect any usb device to your ipad

yoo wsg i have a lvl up keyboard but i can only use the scroll lock for the light top only come on and i also want other RBG lighting style but my keyboard doesnt have a FN button
i play on a Chromebook when i connect it it turns the light on for a second after it doesn't work on the mouse it works ima check later if its the Chromebook or some
I have a Chrome OS laptop and, it didn't work on mine. I'm not sure if it's not that powerful of a laptop. It only works on a specific angle in the plug-in of my laptop and when it's at the specific angle the keyboard doesn't work 😕
Ive noticed that Chrome OS is a light OS. It can't handle much in my opinion. All of the chrome OS laptops I've used were only used for light PC tasks. Though that may be the case, I don't think that would effect the functionality of the keyboard unless it has an issue with the USB port. If you have a USB hub, try plugging it in to that. If it works perfectly fine then likely there is an issue with your USB port. If you have multiple ports then try using a different port. If all else fails try plugging the keyboard into another laptop and if it works likely the problem lies with the Chrome OS laptop.

I can't seem to find info on the pink one but I would have to assume that it works the same way. Just keep hitting the scroll lock button. If all else fails check the manual. If it doesn't say then your keyboard may only be able to have 1 color
hi... i got the same one, it literally says multicolor and it shows 3 colors for the backlight on the box (red, white, and blue), but it doesn't change color when i hit the scroll lock key, it only turns it on. did you ever figure it out? or did we just buy a defective line or something 😓

From my experience the Bytech keyboard does not have the functionality to adjust the Brightness or have different RGB settings.
Can I free Scroll Lock as I work in Excel and need arrow functions

Thanks for your video, this is not the first keyboard that I have had that all of a sudden the lights have stopped working or some other wonky nonsense. I would start taking note that most of these keyboards are manufactured (You know where) and the electronics they use are cheap and over time they start to either break down like those pens that had those rubber cushion sleeves on them or they are bleeding over rf signals to other chips.
I am thinking Keyboards are starting to become old cell phones, they are purposefully made to break so you fork out another nearly $200 bucks.

Mine won't turn off from my Cyber Power PC and My pc is off it stays on
Does it stay on indefinitely or does it turn off after a while? Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. If it turns back on then that may be how your PC runs the drivers for the keyboard

hi there! i know im 5 months late but i have the same keyboard as you and actually the colors do change but when its on white or blue it shows red bc the LED is under the keys and the keys arepink so it makes it look red sadly, im so sorry.

the other 2 colors actually work just the blue and white are under the keys and the keys are pink so it makes it look red , found this out like 10 minsago and im just as disappointed

If your keyboard won't type try plugging in to another USB port. If it still doesn't type then try to plug it in to a USB hub to see if that works. If it doesn't work after that then the keyboard is probably defective

Is it the same ByTech keyboard? If you have a different model then let me know what it is and I will give you updated instructions if there is any. Also if the keyboard is not marketed as a LED/RGB keyboard then it wont have a lighting function

These keyboards don't seem to light up when plugged into Chromebooks
I believe the reason behind that is chromebooks already have a keyboard so when you press the function key for the lights it defaults to the function for the built in keyboard and not the keyboard you have plugged in. Granted higher end RGB keyboards may have that Functionality, this one doesn't I assume
