    Congratz on your 1st video. you covered the box set that has the least amount of vids on it suprisingly, youd think that all Perry box sets would be thoroughly covered, especially these as Id think theydbe most popular. I likedthe size comparison w/GW minis ( GW is closer to 1/48 32mm than 1/56 28mm ) If you want some inexpensive plastic that is close to GW try Hat Miniatures 28mm El Cid , they arent very detailed but workwell for mordheim or warhammer fantasy. Looking forward to more videos from you & keep up the good work, lastly a messy workbench is a happy workbench

    Thanks. I thought the size comparison was very well done and informative. Your review of the options that you could have with the Perry Miniatures was also valuable. I hope you are inspired to continue doing these videos.

    Thanks for the review! I'm very happy you showed the skeleton infantry kitbash! I've been thinking about doing exactly this with a few spare Perry torsos I have on hand to make a couple of wights. Also can vouch for the Icelandic horse, they do be like that, love from Iceland.

    Hmm. Seems that there are 6 riders more than horses. It is a shame this isn't made more clear, so you can add two sprues of 'spare' horse to the order per box.

    Song of Ice and Fire Cavalry should go well with GW Cavalry.

    Great video, thanks. I recently bought this same kit. I think your painting of the skeleton looked great. As for the horse and knight,
    did you get a good affect on your model using white instead of black for your primer coat? especially when painting plate armor?
    Seems like we have the same taste, I like Knights. Always was interested in the Warhammer Brettonian Knights. Now that I'm getting back into painting miniatures Games Workshop no longer offers the Brettonian Knights or Wood Elves. Which really SUCKS! you're lucky to have some Brettonian's. Have some Valdemar knights 1/72nd scale I bought not too long ago at a not so local hobby store. Haven't started to paint them (so damn small!) now that my eyes aren't what they used to be. I'm really liking the Perry medieval series though. Lot easier to see, especially since I need to use my bi-focals and magnifying glass/light to paint now. Also I wanted to ask you if you used some type of filler to fill the gaps you get when you glue the armor to the horses? I've only put one model together and it's fully armored knight and horse. Wondering what you would recommend? Milliput, Tamiya putty, Green Putty (Squadron) ??

      @guardbeardiabeardio1273  Před 6 lety +1

      I always prime my models in white so my colors come through pure. I've had a lot of frustration trying to put lighter colors ontop of dark colors and it made me want to choke slam a baby seal. Now when it comes to the gaps, just use some green stuff thats been soaking in a bit of water. It gets extremely spreadable and you can kind of stuff it into the gaps and then smooth it over with your thumb or a tool till it blends in with the plastic.
