It’s so sad. Grew up there. 70 to 2000. Then said bye. Every time I go back makes me wanna cry.
It’s so sad how a beautiful area has went to hell
I'm sure wherever you are is so much better.
@@mattmarzula it is better by far actually
Y-town used to be great.
Then thing after thing. It went to hell. Are you actually going to say it’s a great place to live?
@@user-zr7ii9lh3jThere are a lot worse places than Youngstown.
@@Alexinytown there’s no doubt that there are worse places
The 70-80- early 90’s were good
Then city kept making bad choices.
The bridge that took forever killed the south side.
It was an endless list of mistakes.
Every time I come back there’s less. Or went down hill. Only thing I could say there’s a bar on every corner and in between.
The crime. And well the drugs are insane now.
Okay, I remember most of these, espcially the Wilson's commercial (I understand why it closed down when Charlie Wilson had ran for congress, and served until his death). Also this is the entire sign off before the national anthem. I do remember TV-27 being the only other Youngstown Station at this time that signed off (WNEO signed off around this time at 1 a.m. to save money). Else WFMJ had HSC over night, and WYTV had All News Channel, and World News Now.
Hey Dave, any aircheck’s from WKBN and WYTV from the gulf war ?
Jim Loboy Is Storm Team 27 Meteorologist!
Yup and he used to do the morning show on Hot 101 back in the day too.
Jim did afternoon drive and was a frequent substitute host for AC & Kelly back in the day. He joined the morning drive shift proper late in his second stint with the station. @@newstarcadefan
