I love how the coaches talk about getting better themself. Not just about the players getting better.
😍😍😍 Do not take this moment and what is ahead of us all for granted, fellow Lions fans. Every level of this franchise from the owner to the janitors is ONE PRIDE, in lockstep, focused on one goal. This is truly special so far already, but I'm telling you that what comes ahead of us is going to be every bit as mind-blowing as what we've seen since early 2021. (PS: Hank Fraley is a boss, so lucky to have him on this amazing coaching staff. PPS: Hutch and Sewell are 23. These dudes are going to battle in practice and make each other better and it will go down as one of the best T/DE pairings on a single team in NFL history. Bank it.)
Gulp
@@justindooley2738someone help that young man he is OD
How can you not love our staff? These guys are very much football. Very aware of the objectives and very all in on it. Very well spoken men with one direction headed forward. Lets go!
I love BIG DAN CAMPBELL and the coaches he has assembled! What a great head coach!!!
Be where your feet are. Love that quote.
Pretty sure Tanner is gonna be the new OC when Ben leaves. He’s Ben Johnson’s passing coordinator he knows Ben’s offense the most
The staff has pretty much said as much, he's been getting prepped to take over if Ben ultimately leaves
Kinda figured he’d go with Ben honestly
@@Cmurkedyahe’ll stay. Bj wants to call his own plays as hc
Was cool getting to hear from Egstrand, seems like a really sharp guy. What he said about Hook was on point. Learning a new system, new footwork & timing, shaking off the rust and trustinghis knee. People need to chill because he didn't set the world on fire in mini's & OTA's.
Excellent take, 100% with you.
Agreed like damn he's essentially a rookie, and this is where you are supposed to make mistakes. On top of his surgery and like he said gaining lots of muscle in upper body
100% agree
Tanner is gonna be OC when Ben leaves . He has a very calm confidence that just resonates with me. I'm sure the players feel the same. I also feel Scottie is an underrated Coach too. His presence is larger than life!
@@kareemjohnson8059 Scottie is AWESOME 💯
I have a feeling somewhere in that video, we just saw Ben Johnson's eventual successor & as much as I am not looking forward to inevitably losing him to a head coaching job one day, I am also left feeling content in the knowledge that whomever is tasked with filling his shoes (be it Hank or Tanner) will be more than capable of doing the job at an equally high level until they are eventually poached for having also managed to sustain the same level of success.
BIG HANK THE GREAT
I think we won't have to look far for an OC replacement, Tanner seems to be BJ 2.0
Wish Josh luck with his new team but excited to see who steps up
Yes😂
One has to grow one's instincts and only practice can teach that.
Hanks Tanks
Folks talking about AG and BJ being head coaches...Hank is a sleeper.
I know it doesn't change ur career earnings coach... but you were my QB for every NFL street 2 game. Big Ben never made the squad.
How can anyone speak of H.O.F at this stage of the game.
Primarily bc they have watched Penei play the game. He is the best offensive lineman in the league already at 23 & still manages to get even better every day. The only thing that could potentially keep Sewell from getting a gold jacket one day would be a series of catastrophic injuries that cut his career short. If the decision came down purely to a combination of talent & work ethic, he would already be a lock going into his 4th season. Obviously anything can happen as far as injuries are concerned, but if he manages to avoid them & sustain playing at the level of the last 2 seasons for another 5-6 years, his H.O.F. candidacy won't even be a debate. It's exciting to have a guy that people are already talking about as a potential H.O.F. level talent at 23 though, for sure. You know he is special when he resets the tackle market with his contract while playing on the right side of the line & you don't hear a single person question whether or not he is worth the money, despite the fact that he isn't protecting the blind side.
People were talking about him being an HOF lock going into his draft.
Why not teach the coaches and players to repeat the question before answering? It drives me crazy to not know who they are talking about…
