    He immediately pointed out the gap in the tail gate and mentioning the spray foam, which implies he already knew what the problem was. And even in the Dollar General parking lot he mentions again "when I saw it was small rocks I was like 'oh no,'" so he still made the decision to get onto the road after realizing he had an unsafe load. Maybe he should have just bought the spray foam ahead of time and carried it with him in case he received a load that needed it...
    He doesn't have his top tarp cover deployed either.

    • @Bipbapbop_
      @Bipbapbop_ Před 5 měsíci

      Agreed he never should’ve accepted the load with that truck, but blame is not 100% on him, his boss or dispatch should’ve better prepared the driver with the proper truck or procedure for something like this. Drivers need to realize if their companies put them in situations like that, they probably shouldn’t be working for them.

      @SuperTrb0 Před 6 měsíci +3

      Not really. That guy could have hurt someone, he could have caused an accident and could have done thousand of dollars in damages to other vehicles on the road. You also have to consider that as he drives along the interstate he is passing through multiple jurisdictions. Each time someone called 911 to report this guy, that call was going to be passed off to whoever is the nearest jurisdiction which means you could have potentially even more officers running lights to catch this guy. Traffic was light, weather was good, it was mid day, to me it was a correctly calculated risk.

Early morning, dark and I’m northbound on 59 in a class A diesel pusher motorhome traveling about 60 mph when a bottom dump semi blows past me at 70+ mph spewing pea gravel out one of the bottom dump doors. Windshield on the motorhome was chipped up and ruined.
    The guy left a trail of pea gravel for almost a hundred miles. I wonder how many windshields were destroyed. Fortunately, my insurance covered the damage.

I slowed down and gave him like 20 car lengths and still got hit several times. Caught up and we called the cops and took pictures. Truckers insurance wouldn't pay stating I didn't avoid the (millions) of rocks in the road. My insurance paid but what a pain.
    Truckers are given tons of leeway in these cases for their carelessness. In my case the trucker was like "oh well".

    Bro this reminds me when some idiot was dropping legit boulders off his trailer a few months back and one almost went through my grill but I had to swerve all the way to the far left lane to avoid it causing it to slide off my quarter panel and hit whatever was behind me! I swear someone caught one through their windshield, i see up next to the POS and flipped him off while pointing next to his trailer and he still kept riding! I’m no authority- sure but I literally thought this boulder was gonna be what took me out this world as I seen it a mile back bouncing and rolling thinking it was a ball but this thing was hurling like a tire right at me! I couldn’t do anything but curse the guy and flip birds over the situation…
    Police never even stopped the idiot smh but they’ll pull me for driving 15 over in a rather safely manner if I say so… I never swerve in and out of cars in tight spaces and definitely never make a move without a signal being able to be placed first ( my rule being if have enough time to signal and maneuver with more than 8 ft of space, it’s not cutting you off, you’re driving slower)

    All the comments I've seen on here are talking about how gravel can ruin a paint job or windshield of a car, but as a motorcycle rider, I have a VERY different view point - GRAVEL CAN KILL A BIKER. Gravel, especially small pea sized gravel like this numbnut was spilling all over the road, makes it like riding on ice. Sliding off the road can kill someone riding a motorcycle. There are trees, signs posts, light poles, and other vehicles that are deadly to someone on a bike, so yeah, complain about your replaceable glass, I understand that, but as a biker, this idiot deserves to have his license suspended until he sweeps up those miles of deadly hazards.
