- Just glorious: The EarRegulars at The Ear Inn (326 Spring Street, Soho, New York City) on Sunday, March 20, 2016. They were Jon-Erik Kellso, trumpet; Pat O'Leary, string bass; Matt Munisteri, guitar; Scott Robinson, tenor saxophone and mellophone. Recorded by Michael Steinman for JAZZ LIVES (www.jazzlives.w...).
I think Scott Robinson is the most consistently interesting tenor saxophonist currently active.
Yes - an individual sound, unlike the contemporary 'sound-alikes' produced in the University Jazz factories.
you're fucking right about that
My goodness; this is nice!! The most naive the jazz, the most improvised and innovative out of key and pattern; the best. America, the Americas utopia at the greatest art of the humanity; jazz divine expression of whatever beauty and freedom. We are the greatest hope of the universe; loor to The Americas!!!!
Love the bands you pick for these wonderful old songs. Thanks for this swingyoucats, Love, Dorrie
