I'm picturing an action movie backdrop and it's wild , uplifting & free ! This was an awesome performance by all of you. Sounds wild along with the flute and Juna and Sina in perfect sync ... The expressionism coming from the Sina team is one of a kind and it's extraordinary ! They are full of surprises this year !
I too felt like this could be the soundtrack for a movie. But not an action movie, more like a fast paced adventure comedy.
To me this is the musical highlight of february. I hope something even better will come along, but I wouldn't bet on it, its going to be hard to beat.

East meets west at its very best. It starts really harmless and nice and then after less than one minute the thunderstorm breaks out. Drums in the fighting girl mix. Over a dark and heavy bass line the flute molody ist flying accompanied by the chirping of the lute. Geniuses at work. I'm excited.

@@fredaldridge1282, same here. Sina is my favorite drummer in the world, and has been for years. She also is someone I owe a debt of gratitude to, that I may never be able to repay, by introducing me to Emily! I came to her channel that day, just to watch/listen to the new video, as I always did, and man, my ears perked up within the first couple lines, I knew Emily was blessed with an incredible gift. By the end of that Cat Stevens song she had become my favorite singer. I told her so that day. I went to the Yalla Festival about a month later, by then I had already heard everything she had on CZcams and her website, and I got to meet her and Christine face to face in a zoom meeting for about 20 minutes. They are exactly as sweet as they seem in the videos. Really beautiful people. I haven’t had a single day since that first one without her in it Fred. Not one. I live in Butte, Montana, not sure where you are, but I told Christine that I would love to go to Emily’s performance that she won from the Dubai Opera, where she will be the opening act for one of their shows. It’s a 7,500 mile flight, but I would do it twice to be there for her.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I also have followed Jadyn for years, and now Chiara, (she’s incredible) and even Lotus. I saw that you got onto Chiara’s Instagram page too. Ok that’s it. 😁😅

Love it, Sina! Juna is a superb bassist with an obvious interest in fusing genres, and you've shown a similar intention to explore rhythms not commonly found in 'western' music. Please keep exploring and inventing.

Really loved this blend of contemporary and traditional instruments from Japan. The musical score has so much feeling, it truly invokes an image of a "Kunoichi" warrior. Juna is such a talented bass player, I love every genre she plays (especially jazz) and I really enjoyed the more traditional instrumental musicians Shinobu, Aria and Hideaki also. Of course, Sina needs no introduction, I especially liked how and where she used the cymbals in this song.
That sounds different for a change. I really like it and I enjoy being introduced to new experiences from time to time. Great collaboration.

Agree! Since it’s been expressed so so many times: Is there anything Sina can’t do?! it’s easy to see yet another opportunity for her to expand on her already large ‘skill set’ and projects. Yes I agree too. Especially when you see other musicians play and not just Sina...It is far more interesting. When you just see a drummer that does a cover alone, the song must be very special and spectacular, otherwise, it is highly boring...

Wunderschönes Stück von Juna. Es erinnert mich wegen der Flöte phasenweise an die neueren Sachen von Ian Anderson. Auch das Saiteninstrument klingt super. Juna ganz routiniert am Bass.
