July Morning (Uriah Heep); drum cover by Sina

- Going further down my list, covering some of the most requested Bands, enjoy!
July Morning by Uriah Heep. This particular version was suggested by Apple Music and Spotify when I looked for the song. It seems to be the most popular version of the song today although it differs from the original album version. It's off the Uriah Heep album 'Celebration' and it's basically a re-recording which they did in 2009. Although I love the beauty of the original 1971 album version, I decided to go for the new version as it's a lot more challenging for me as a drummer.

#UriahHeep #JulyMorning #DrumCover - Hudba
Sina i'm a 74 year old drummer, you're an inspiration to me, i felt very emotional listening to you playing that, it was awesome. !!😊
Want to have a drum off
Goosebumps, tears, choking. Now THIS is music.
Merry Christmas
Its so refreshing to see that such a young soul even knows of Uriah Heep...I mention to my kids that they were one of my all time favorite bands .. i told them as a kid i loved Uriah Heep they asked if she was still around this area
You are an incredible drummer Sina! Good to see that the music I grew up with still resonates among the younger generations! Thank you for keeping the music alive!!
It's July morning and birds are chirping...and Sina I s banging the drums, in my heart and in my soul.
It is really unusual for a young girl to appreciate and perform with energy and passion the rock of Huriah Heep, now known only to older connoisseurs with a refined palate in the musical field.
Great drumming of a classic Heep tune that I’ve loved for most of my 62 years. Great job !
I think you left everything you had, heart, soul and sweat in this cover. Absolutely great.
Nein, Herz und Seele hat Sina Gott sei Dank immer noch behalten !
I'm a 66 year old man who is in totally in love with this young lady, (yeah, not that way, perverts) this is my era of music and some 40 /50 years later, this young lady gets it. Absolutely awesome. Freaks me out every time I watch her. Best of luck Sina, in everything you do, and keep on, keeping on...
@@salbuda6957 the same thing happened to me.
I’m just happy that a young person knows who Uriah Heep is. You made my day!
Yeah, keeping it alive
@UCs6kSL7ElPGeGObIO8gwzRA Yes she does
Великолепно,она молодец!!!
I was thinking the same thing!!
me too !!!!
Lee Kerslake was called "The Body Drummer" - and he would surely be proud of this version of one of the most epic songs ever. Well done, Sina!
He was also called a Bear. For its impressive external dimensions
One of my favourite bands: Uriah Heep
My God, My God every time i watch this I get this huge smile that almost hurts my jaw. I know I’ve commented before but I can’t help it. You young lady are brilliant. You are so good, perfection at its finest. Simply Incredible! 🤘
Damb we are old...
I m totally blown away. As an older rocker just to hear and see some one of your generation bringing these songs to life and with such style and technique and your range of songs and mastering of all of them and those young people who sing and play guitar , it is such a treat and thank you . it s such a beautiful thing , some of the best stuff on youtube
I listened to this band when I was younger!
Brings back many good memories and thoughts of then. I'd like to hear more of Uriah Heep, on the radio, besides Nazareth.... That's for sure.
了😮
Goose bumps!!!!!
I watch, because I know she's going to just slay it, and still amazed at her absolutely slaying it!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mamma Mia! Your talent is beyond belief, it gives me chills! Nothing like classic rock and you have captured the essence and style of every cover, I’ve never seen anyone do what you do, you are amazing! I’ve watched so many of your videos and I’m blown away! I can truly appreciate your talent, I’m 58 years old and have played the drums since I was 14, and this isn’t about me, I’m just letting you know that I know what it takes to play the way you do, you are beyond words, what an amazing young woman.... Thank you for posting so many classics that I grew up on and your appreciation for real music!
Sina, you play like a monster. Like a woman possessed. That was unbelievable. I'm also admiring you for even knowing Uriah Heep. You go girl!
Possessed of a love for real music and an exquisite talent... and we're among the beneficiaries ...
Wonderful !!! Sees so effortless yet I as many must appreciate how much stamina, talent and practice is needed ro accomplish these epic covers. I bet soon after being arriving in this world of many rhythms from heart beat to fingers tapping on the baby mattress ... you reached for drumsticks instead of some nice warm milk and so your life of percussion was born ...thank goodness for us and you these years later. ❤
Sina didn't start playing durms until she was 10, but the rhythm has always been in her. There is a video of her on a road trip from Germany to London (to be an expert on Keith Moon) where sitting in the passenger seat she's drumming on the dashboard. I bet she sleeps with drumsticks in her hands.
50th anniversary of that memorable morning in July of 1971 is coming up in 2 days (if you're like me and live in North America) and even sooner if you're in Europe, Middle and Far East! An amazing song that held up MORE than very well for half a century. That triple Hammond organ cord sequence just before the first verse... I kid you not as it is a medicine for your soul, really. I was about 2 years old when I first heard "Look At Yourself" vinyl blasting relentlessly out my parents room. And, out of all sheer power of that incredible album, thing that absolutely left me in shock and thinking that it's the most beautiful thing to sound like this ever is that triple Hammond organ cord sequence I described earlier that Ken Hensley does on the original. MASSIVE, earth shattering cover. Happy "Julaya", if you happen to be in Bulgaria on the morning of July 1, 2021!
Sina, I remember this song like it was yesterday! *Its one my favorite of all time* I saw them do this song "Live" around mid 1972. IT seemed like the song lasted forever! The album's other songs on "Look at Yourself" were also killer songs,,, but this was by far the best. I saw them live in mid to late 1972, Pink Floyd was the opening act ( LOL!) PF was virtually an unknown then, just noted for some weird songs on an album called " Ummagumma " It took themm 5 albums to get to the Classic "Dark side of the moon" Going back to Uriah heep, they continued to play for years without too many line up changes. These guys rocked before anyone... They came alive in the late 60's .. Love them and cover you did was KILLER! It was not the original recording however. Thanks for bringing back the memories of what rock should and outta sound like.. 🤘
I love Uriah Heep! Wish I still had my vinyl!!💞

Saw them with their original line up in 71 or 72 . There first US tour. They were opening for Steppinwolf in Houston, Texas
Where? I mean... I would like to know where this event was...
Gotta tell you. I played drums for 8 years and only WISH I was this talented. So fantastic. Can’t wait to see where this kid goes!
Here I am again for my Sina Heep bedtime story. Thank you Sina! Such an F'ing great tune! Most underrated band ever. Sina knows.
You ALWAYS amaze!! So wonderfully enmeshed in whatever you play. It makes it seem as if youre the only one whos played the song. What a tribute to every great drummer!!!
I first heard this song in 1971 or 1972. It was a beautiful melancholy song and ahead of it's time. The 2009 version which Sina plays is a power song while still maintaining the beauty. I have listened to over 250 of her videos and I think this is her finest performance. Especially her foot work and her symbol work. The power of the base drum carries the performance and the symbol play was amazing. At 7:58 she actually hit her right Crash 4 times in one second.
Listening to this will probably be the best 9 minutes you've had today.
Every time I watch this, I am totally transfixed. You get stronger and stronger throughout the song, drawing us in to it deeper and deeper. I think this one has to be seen multiple times before its fully appreciated. The sweat at the end says it all - you are fully invested in giving this great song the effort and energy it deserves.
This is probably the most physically demanding cover Sina has done. She started to sweat at about the 4 minute mark and it's one of 3 that this cool, calm, and amazing drummer has ever done so.
@@gregbr100 Its one of my top 5 favourite covers. She's done so many that its hard to narrow down to top 5, but this would be one of them. Her originals and collaborations are great too. They deserve more views, but its the covers that has introduced so many of us (myself included) to her shining talent.
@@opahogie I've watched this video more than 300 times over the past 3+ years and it's my #2 right behind Won't Get Fooled Again. I love many of her originals, but they seldom get the plays of her Classic Covers. Recently Sina did an original with Julia Giampietro that is not on Sina's Channel (yet), but it may be one of the best she has done so far. Check it out: czcams.com/video/5AvVdhX9p7Y/video.html
@missdarlene7 Sina drum covers are Amazing 😍 ‼️❤️ Sincerely Darlene an American Girl Who has a thing for drummers ❤️❤️❤️
My old man use to sing this for me while playing guitar, I really felt I has somehow connection to this song,
Until I got into age when I realized that this song is according to my father is about me,
I was born July 24 morning by the way,
It's nice to know that being so young knows this masterpiece classic,
Cheers!
Wow...Uriah Heep...couldn't believe you even knew who they were!!! They are one of the best kept secrets in rock music. Excellent job covering this...
Just the way you control your cymbals is enough to call you a master. Add in your pedal abilities and you captivate!
Thanks for sharing your uber talent with us.
Yes, it was very interesting watching her when the cymbals were the main focus of the song.
Saw them live at Fairfield Halls Croydon - my ears didn’t stop ringing for three days. Heady days. Thank you Sina - you clearly enjoyed the UH groove.😊
I'm 56 years old and that was my favorite in high school, how beautiful this very technical and fine music is very cool
Sina,ты умничка! Успехов тебе во всём! Спасибо твоим родителям за то что воспитали такую талантливую девочку ! Здоровья им,и долгих лет жизни!
Thank you Sina - and everyone who requested - for choosing such a great song. I didn't know it yet, but I really like it.
The verses are melodic what you play with the cymbals skillfully, and in contrast banging the chorus. It's great that the song lasts 9 minutes, who claims that it shouldn't be longer than 3 minutes? He has no idea! I have to turn on the repeat.
You are an amazing drummer Sina!...and I"m so happy that young musicians like yourself are keeping the classic songs alive so that present and future generations can enjoy them...stay safe and rock on'!!!
I must confess I didn't know this song before I found out about sina-drums but to me, after watching this vid more than a dozen times and listened to the original, this is an absolute masterpiece of drum cover and yet, the best is still to come from this young lady...
Slowly I think you are the drum instance for the rock of the 70 and 80. I wish you so much success. You can't make a mistake with the music. In deep admiration, go your way.
In love a rock fan
Sina, my admiration and respect for you just jumped up several levels. URIAH HEEP...WOW THATS AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE ! I’m telling my advanced age now but I attended several Uriah Heep concerts in the Southeastern United States during the early seventies and they are still on my favorite playlist today. The fact that you pay tribute to Heep and others including Iron Butterfly and Deep Purple along with modern metal is even more reason to admire your broad spectrum of musical appreciation and sheer talent. You’re a beautiful woman that’s also gifted far beyond words could possibly describe. I find you to be a deep source of personal inspiration. Keep on being amazing, my lovely friend !
what daniel said, absolutely!!
Hansti1... AGREED, NO DOUBT AND ABSOLUTELY FOR SURE !!!
Words well said.
Mike Zielinski ...good call. Sina’s facial expressions display how well she’s focused on her drumming along with the occasional smile to indicate just how much enjoyment she’s obviously getting doing what she was born to do. She has the power to write her own ticket for an amazing future for the world to enjoy.
Dave Stratton ...thanks for your kind words but I’ve come to realize that there simply aren’t enough words to convey the heart and soul from deep within.
The fact that you tackled this tune at all speaks volumes. Top-secret: I think you've got a great ear! Your performance here: I'm not qualified to say - but I sure LOVED watching and listening to your drums, you learnin' them a thing or two 'bout some HEEP! YEAH!
I am watching this on a January morning but all of a sudden it is July morning outside. Ecstasy, folks, ecstasy.
This song takes alot more that Sina let's on! She is just so natural she makes this look easy! 🥢 this is NOT easy ! We are watching you Sina!
Good gracious a night !!! That was an INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE !!!! Sina, you are certainly one of the best !!!
Holiday time
Чувак, заметь, а ведь она не в точности повторяет. Здесь свои интонации исполнения! Это перепрочувтвованное произведение, новым человеком.
Wow.... Superb !!! I first saw this band play in 1971... So that sort of ages me... No matter I'm 66 and have such great memories of good music and lots of fun. Thank you for continuing the tradition of great music
Wow... I’ve always loved this song by them.....but I never remember the drum track being this fantastic!🤔🤗👍!!
Great job on this one!🙂❤️
Again 100% perfecto. There's not too many drummers that are easy on the eyes and can hit every single beat perfectly. You knock it out of the park every single time.
Superbă ! Are timpul înainte ,e o ,,prelungire,, a celei care este, Ami Kim .Bravo !!!
Wow! I finally saw this. So incredibly well done. You definitely matched the rhythm and heavy handed power of Mr. Lee Kerslake. I believe he would be proud.
Simply magnificient Sina. Rock on - and we can rest in our hearts that there are young musicians out there keeping the Classic rock alive. You have a strong future behind the drums and in life 🎸😄👍
A fantastic song to cover this is one to savor Sina!!! Probably the best Uriah Heep song you could have chosen!!! Bravo!!! 👏👏👏
💄♨️🐼🐘💙👌
i haven't heard drumming this excellently played since Gene Kroupa in the 40s and 50s. amazingly beautiful. WOW!!!
Thank you continuing to perform!
We appreciate music..
Thanks for keeping the goodness of
Music! !!-_-!!.. Keep it up please!
The most badass young drummer I have ever heard playing classic rock! Rock on, young lady!
I'll second that
Yes.. Sina .rock e roll.
Love Uriah Heep! Good work Sina! 😎✌️❤️💕
what a great drum rendition to a magnificent Uriah Heep classic - sweet memories from another time. What a brilliant talent you are and you showcase your percussion talents so vividly.
Love u aydol,,
Fan-Tas-tic to see this young lady doin' all the complex songs so accurate. I am overwhelmed.
Uriah Heep was one of my favorites. Thank you Sina for such excellent drumming!!!!!!!!! You made my day.
I can`t expain exactly why, but it comforts me that one of my favourite bands from my growing years still has the energy and the musicality to reverberate down decades to this talented young woman.
Ditto
I agree with you 100 percent my friend
pete collins , Comfort is a perfect explanation in the realm of Sina. She quite obviously “gets it” as energy pours from her and in turn becomes fluid that carries straight into the hearts and minds of her admirers and of course, URIAH HEEP tuned minds that for myself, still feels electric and simmering till the positive rush of shared energy.... and memories are easily recalled by the familiar touch of humanity and the fabric of time opens once again....
Sina, your drum-playing is incredible, amazing - allt he best to you and your beloved
Stephan
Lee played this song in 1976 ? with old drum and sound technology, and Sina played in 2020's she enhanced it with new drum and sound technology but her fill and chop is excellent without ruining the original song. Amazing.... give more power and energy
I have said it before, it's worth saying again!
SINA, you are the best!
I learn on every video you show me!
Bought that one on "8 track" in 1973 and it's been my favorite Heep song..
Uriah Heep. I was not expecting you to pull them out of your bag of tricks. Marvelous Sina.
Johnny Quest fan😎👍
@@mikejohnson-dl7vt Finally someone gets it!
One of my favorites!! Thank you!!
I think this is probably my favourite of Sina's covers. All her work is great but somehow I always find myself coming back to this one.
I first heard this song when i was 13 on the "Uriah Heep Live" 8 track tape. My brother in law gave it to me for my birthday. It turned me on to rock forever. I still go back to it for comfort .... Robert Hall... You have no idea how much you changed my life from giving me that one tape.
What a spine shivering experience you treat us, Sina! The intensity is growing steadily in the midsection. First 2.45 screen is divided into six segments and opens the whole vision. At 3.45 you are quite unstoppable and it goes on. I really would like to know what do you think if anything at that point? You have to play the piece somewhat by feeling even if you had learned the piece completely by heart. At least it seems so. It doesn’t take long when you draw everybody else into your magic spell, too! What a performance! This is why I’ll be your fan for the ages to come 😊
Sina...u kill these i saw UH so many XS........u make it look so easy....BLESS U
Your tributes to the past greats are full of respect and do them and yourself justice. Your cam set ups really crank up the appreciation of both. Thanks for committing to outstanding effort. You’re a gem.
Hi SIna congratulations, you were born with a gift, what you do is with the soul, that's why you're the best👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Daaaaamm you go girl love Uriah Heep and you nailed it
Headline - A "Heep"ing dose of Sina's power and energy throughout this track. Fantastic
I never tire of watching Sina play the drums in tune with classic rock music. Her focus and technique are incredible.
:)s ... Most truly !
So cool to see a young, vibrant, very talented drummer play older tunes like this! Music these days does not possess the creativity and musicianship that the older bands had. It is very gratifying to see you Sina play these songs. I admire you so much. You are such a refreshing talent! Keep it up baby! Love you!
There are lots of great bands these days. You just don't hear them on radio.
Sina .. my renewed love for Uriah Heep, I can’t describe the feeling I get when I watch each video, I’m floored each time … Bravo and thank you lord for sharing your gift ❤
You're amazing Sina. Keep on working hard to be the best every single day of your life. I can tell that you feel the music very deep inside of you and you play with passion, and passion is the key of being succesful in life..... Congratulations, God bless you. Love you.
Wow. Such an skilled percussionist you've become. Just the kick alone...kind of mind blowing. Thanks for making these !!
After Highway Star a other Masterpiece... WOW! Thank you Sina!
Yes she's so adorable and amazing 😊
I have been a Fan Of the Heep since I bought The Demons And Wizards album in 74 I think. Sina You Are Great You Have Special Talent! Go Girl Go! Awesome!
Hi Sina, I for the life of me can't figure out how I missed this wonderful gem and never commented on it before now. Though a rather lengthy tune you covered it very expertly and never missed a beat!!! I can't express how much I love watching and listening to anything done by you for you my dear completely disconnect from everything else around you and your entire being from head to toe becomes one with the song and transcend into almost a trance like state. That is the sign of a true topnotch musician and I find it hard to come up with adequate words to show my admiration and amazement!!! That leaves me with only one conclusion.... I made the right choice to continue following your progress and to becoming a patron which I'm happy to say I felt was my obligation since you have been so eager to provide all of us with such outstanding entertainment and other young talent with somewhere to show the world their talents as well!! So to wrap things up, I really enjoyed this cover and I can't wait to see and hear what comes next from you, your friends and from the boat studio!! Till next time... "STAY STRONG" "STAY DOING THINGS JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!!" and as always and forever "LOVE YA"
Her ability to adapt to almost any style of drumming and do it well is uncanny! What talent she has...
Just a couple sina covers makes all the worlds trouble go away! If only for bit, jammin!
WOW. 4 months ago I just commented "Great". That was the understatement of the year. This is a FANTASTIC song and you killed it. A very well done job by you and everyone else.

Noch mal eine Steigerung, so empfinde ich es. Ohne den Song vorher zu kennen - bin ich total von Deinen kraftvollen "Drum-Kaskaden" beeindruckt. So unfassbar gut, höchsten Respekt!
Just totally incredible. Back in the mid 70s I was in a band and we did a lot of Heep. This one also. You Sina, nailed it. As always a true perfectionist. Thank you for doing what you do.
What I truly adore somehow, is the almost always suttle look on Sinas face on the header or listing of almost all her covers..
Sina has her eyes closed in almost all of them... to me, in these images, one can catch a glimpse of what she might be feeling, in as far as the feeling of the song... you can kinda see how she is portraying the emotional feel of the music.
It comes through quite clear, always showing feeling of the grove, melody, tempo, and vibe.
Always lovely...
Much respect always lil missy.
I wish i had a tunnel vision into the back side of your eyelids,...
I know when your eyes are closed, that you can see the music and transform it your own way.
Peace and love lil'sis
You are like a Jimmy Hendrix, or say... Mozart
... or, Beethoven...or any other master... And another natural of percussion & music, or a master of your own brand.
Keep the timing, beat & melodic tempo young lady!, hehehe, so nice ~
Ain't nobody like you lil sister... you are on a whole different playing feild.
Love watching you rock sweet thing... my hat is off to you sister...
Much love ~ ✌
