KPBS is a Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member television station licensed to San Diego, California, United States. Owned by San Diego State University as part of KPBS Public Media, it is a sister station to National Public Radio (NPR) member KPBS-FM (89.5). The two outlets share studios on the SDSU campus on Campanile Drive in San Diego. The TV station's transmitter is located on San Miguel Mountain in southwestern San Diego County. The station first broadcasted on June 25, 1967.

I Miss the old KPBS and they had a Spanish Channel from 2007-2016 called V-Me TV… it’s too bad that PBS had a 10 year contract with V-Me, I wish it never ended
