Bohol's Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers + Loboc River Cruise | PHILIPPINES

  • The top must-do activities in Bohol, Philippines is to visit the iconic Chocolate Hills and get a glimpse of the tiny Philippine tarsiers. That's exactly what we did as well as a quick stop off at the man-made forest and a fun cruise down Loboc River, enjoying a buffet lunch and some unexpected live music and dancing.
If you want to organise a custom self-tour of attractions around Bohol using a tri-cab/tricycle/tuk tuk, we found our driver Alex to be both punctual and friendly. You can contact him via WhatsApp or mobile to enquire about hiring his services. If you do, please let him know you found him through our video :)

    ⭐ BONUS TIPS ⭐
▸ Most tour groups will take tourists to the "Loboc Tarsier Conservation Area" in Bilar as it's closer to all the other popular attractions however the Philippine Tarsier Foundation in Corella (the one we visited) is the actual non-profit private organization in the Philippines that seeks to protect the Philippine tarsier. Be sure to visit the one in Corella if you can.
▸ We didn't need to pre-book any activity tickets. All were easy to just purchase on the day at their ticket offices.
▸ There are a few places around Bohol to get vantage points of the Chocolate Hills, but it seems that the one in Carmen allows you to see the most hills which is why it's so popular.
▸ From the Chocolate Hills back to Panglao island takes just under 2 hours so it's a fairly long ride back.

The Tarsiers were so cool to see ☺️ Def one of the highlights of our Philippines trip. Regret not seeing the Philippine eagle too, remembered too late to visit Davao 😅

This is one of your more unusual videos featuring strange animals and places. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. That bamboo dance was impressive, and I think you've always been good at learning dance steps. I bet that given more practice, you'll be just as good and natural a dancer as the natives there.

Thanks for sharing. For our little furry friends to leap 5 meters, that is feat alright and for them to return to their spot, their sense of navigation is much better than mine 😅. Traveling upto 1.5 km, that is a whole bunch of leaps, 300 🫡
    These are amazing beings
The lunch was a feast and my favourite is the skewers
Yen's dancing was really good, but can not help to notice @10:23 the lady holding the bamboo was concentrating big time😅, well done both 🫡
Have a great week ahead and take care yeah
