Recording rare breeding birds in mid-summer

June and July are great months for recording rare breeding birds, and in particularly for confirming that breeding attempts have occurred, as many adults will incubating, feeding young in the nest or accompanying dependent young, or fledged juveniles may be on the wing at their breeding sites.
