Epic and FAST Schindler Miconic 10 Traction Elevators @ 10 S Broadway - St. Louis, MO

(2-4-22) Here is a set of awesome Schindler Miconic 10 destination dispatch elevators here in St. Louis! These were installed in 2007 and replaced some old Westinghouse elevators. These are VERY FAST with a speed of 800fpm (4 m/s)! in this video, we take a full ride on a high rise car, check out the service elevator, and one of the cars that serve 1-12 (not a full ride). Only two cars go down to the basement (one of them is the service car). Stay tuned to the end of the video to see something really interesting about this elevator setup!

Interesting how not every elevator serves every floor. What’s also weird is that the 1-12 and 12-24 sighs but car F served 1-20 even though it was on the 12-24 side

One side is for 1-12 and the other is 12-21.

I was under the impression this was just a boring Schindler mod. It was one of those “oh I’ll go to it someday” kinda of things. Turns out it has miconic 10!

I know of at least 1 new install, & that's the Bank of America tower in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm sure there's more that I don't know or am thinking about. And technically these are mods.
