If the guy struck out with his actual female friends, I'd offer him some sympathy(still disagree with his lashing out with a gun). But here he is acting upset when a nurse at her own literal hospital declines. It's just not professional to ask out or accept date invitations at a workplace. This is surface level awareness he should be aware of.
As an example, when I told my cute coworker about an anime movie she might be interested in, I wasn't asking her out to see the movie with me. I was just informing her about the movie. I was planning on seeing the movie myself later. That's an example of having friendly talk without the actual intention of asking out someone you work with.
But this guy literally tried to ask the nurse out for coffee while she was working. Of course she's going to shoot him down. In a similar scenario, this would be like me attempting to ask out a donor technician while I'm donating blood. Even at my lowest moments I wouldn't dare ask a donor technician out on a date.

Such a wonderful parallel, Dr. Charles says, “it’s a loneliness epidemic”, and then you see how Monique mentions she has no family or friends to pick her up, you see how the shooting impacted her, vs the shooter, what he’s done, and his whole demeanor.
It’s not loneliness that’s the issue here.
Yes, she had the support of her coworkers, doesn’t mean she isn’t lonely outside of work. “What if he didn’t even have friendly coworkers?”, lots of people don’t, are still lonely, but they don’t shoot other people for it.

@@milanmohan7731 you do know women attempt suicide more?
The reason there were more helping hands for her than for him is because he went on a rampage and attempted to kill, “all”, women because they, “withheld sex”, from him. She was one of the attacked. Such a wonder why people don’t like to be around people like him.
He found comradeship from people who held his same views online, he was lonely and it turned into hate for women. Even if it was just talking about, “helping hands”, he’s less likely to seek out help that’s not from the online groups that think like him.
That’s also another reason men die from suicide more than women, women attempt more, but then they go seek help out themselves. To an extent you have to help yourself, you have to want the help, you have to meet help halfway.

What happened here is a shame and I don't condone hatred, misogyny or violence.
That being said, loneliness is an epidemic and it is affecting both sides.
When we have physical pain, we take pain killers, when we are sick, we rest and take medication. What do we do for loneliness? There isn't a one size fits all cure all for loneliness. Sure we have friends, but there is a level of intimacy you just can't get from just friends.
Why don't the lonely girls get with the lonely boys then, well, it's sadly not that simple. Guys would gladly do this and don't ask for much in a relationship, just peace, respect and s3x from time to time. Women however want more, especially now. The rule of 6s. 6 feet tall, 6 pack, 6 figure income, 6 cars and 6 houses.
Just being 6 feet tall automatically disqualifies 85% of men and those that make 6 figures are already the 1%. That's when you find 80% of women are chasing tge top 10% of men, that's why you find every athlete has slept with every girl and guys are painted as dogs because girls keep sharing the same group of athletic and successful men.
This is where tge idea of tge patriarchy comes from. All men are held to tge standard of the hyper successful few. For every millionaire, there are 50 trash collectors. As a larger proportion of the collective male population, men don't rule the world, we just make it run with hard work.
Ask most women and you'll find they see about 70% of men as below average... I know, the math is astounding. 60% of guys are either virgins or have not had any fun time in over a year but the statistics are flipped with only 40% of women being virgins and or not having sex in the last year. A stark difference.
This was actually a study, conducted by women. It's just harder to date and find love as a man. Until we can figure this out and cure the epidemic of unwanted men and women that feel played by the ones they keep repeatedly choosing, then we can eliminate so called incels and bitter women.

Misogyny is the driver for thinking violence is the appropriate reaction but loneliness is what they're reacting to, albeit inappropriately. The problem with this assessment is that you can't target misogyny, anyone who's going to be receptive to campaigns against this type of behaviour isn't at risk of going this far in the first place and anyone not receptive is going to be further radicalised by what they see as attempted brainwashing. We can however target loneliness, and if there's nothing to react to then the problem of misogyny causing inappropriate and dangerous reactions is nullified.

Men being more physically focused are more likely to turn to anger and violence to deal with any problem in their life than women, from deep societal woes to their toaster breaking down. 3. Men are on average more emotionally isolated than women and more likely to feel as if they can take on the world single handedly so these feelings fester rather than getting resolved.

Dr. Charles's scene where he mentions loneliness being an epidemic was meant to sound sad, but the loneliness of toxic men is an improvement. Three generations ago, American men weren't lonely because women had no OPTIONS. Universities wouldn't teach us, employers wouldn't hire us for "men's work", banks wouldn't give us loans or accounts- most of us had to get married and stay married to flourish. Men didn't have to TRY to be good partners, because we needed them financially. Now, young men have to learn how to be good partners, or they'll stay lonely. That's a social shift we should be PROUD of- that toxic men are lonely because no one has been systemically forced to stay with them. Diagnosing what's going on in the guys brain IS important for future cases, and should be looked into. Improving our knowledge of the human psyche could potentially save lives, after all. Her freaking out definitely messes with that end goal.
She shouldn't have been in that room to begin with. A level-headed woman who is fully willing to be there, that would be fine. But Dr. Curry is a very outspoken, emotionally driven woman. The decision to let her be in there was a stupid one.

That just doesn't come from nowhere that's the whole point that they're trying to figure out and truthfully I already figured it out a long time ago our society is so f***** up in the head like take this for instance we both demonize and advertise sex on a daily basis when it's not needed it's part of life but the biggest thing that makes it not a right is because it deals with other people it's kind of a delicate situation it's built on trust but other than that it's just not necessary you have actual physical urges because your body is telling you that you need to mate to ensure that our species continues it doesn't know the difference of same-sex couples or anything of that nature but we do know this we're very aware of how instinctual at all is and some people like to use that as an excuse instead of just saying I'm above my instincts sorry for the random just saying our society is very inconsistent and contradictory and I guess that's because of all the individuals that are oppositions to each other rather than working together for a common goal that would help the new generation to not be what we are now very chaotic and we're very aware of it yet we decide not to do anything about it we want to point fingers at the opposition and tell them to fix it and it's like not wanting to do the dishes just because it was someone else's turn and they refuse to do it it's just going to keep piling up and I'm not saying nobody's not doing anything but there could be a lot more people doing something me personally I'm just trying to live my life and be a decent person to other people it's not hard at all
