Warner Bros. Pictures presents “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti (the “IT” films,
“Mama”). Ezra Miller reprises their role as Barry Allen in the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone
feature film.
Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in
order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently
alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned,
threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax
a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the
one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he
knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough
to reset the universe?

Seeing Keaton glide down gave me an astronomical amount of chills.

Bringing the Keaton batman music in is a solid move. It's something the previous dceu didn't understand. Nostalgia. Very powerful stuff. I'm here for it. I breathed a sigh of relief today. I think for the first time this might actually be good.

I was just wondering. I went back and watched the Snyder cut justice league and Barry turned time back twice in that movie. Does anybody think it was consequences to that going into this movie. Cyborg when he was waking the box superman's ship kept telling him to stop that he should t proceed. Then cyborg saw the future if they followed thru with it. Then the box hit the water Barry turned time back right before he touched the box becuz he had to hit the box going into water exactly. Then he turned time back at end of movie to save everybody. But if cyborg already saw what the future was. What does it mean with Barry turning time back twice in same movie.
Even after all these years, Michael Keaton still looks awesome in that Batsuit!

This is based off Flash Point, one of the best DC storylines written. It is quite poignant. In the comics it is Batman's dad. Keaton was an improvement, esp for us who grew up in the 80s. You know he has to let his mom die again for any obtainable solution, so it is inherently tragic.

I'm not. I mean, not surprised I'm excited. I'm old and saw the Keaton's Batman when it hit the cinemas. We all went from work to see it. I think I've still got my Joker tee-shirt somewhere. He's my major draw to this movie. When it looked like they couldn't release it because of the craziness of Ezra Miller, that was why I was annoyed; Keaton's Batman getting sh!tcanned in the process.
He probably won't be in much of the movie so I've been trying hard to downplay expectations. But no lie....seeing him....I want that. Cut the rest of the movie and just give me that.

not really. Marvel has successfully segmented its movies into different genres. Whatever this is can just be called "superhero", the entire 90s tried and failed, DC itself tried and failed. It can be done but it is a lot more difficult to pull off than "spy movie" with Captain America or "coming of age" but with Spider-Man or "comedy lawyer" but with She Hulk.
Spite knowing what Ezra Miller has done (like he could be the real life Joker if you wanted to be) I am really excited for this movie.

The Flash cannot carry this film on his own so they've riddled this film with cameos to dupe us.
I see that every viewer got the chills; it was obvious that Batman would come to the rescue after we heard the dialogue “ I created a world with no meta humans, and there’s no one to defend” but we see it’s Keaton smiling in the bat cowl.
And that Keaton's Batman would have the balls to lead the fight against Zod,Faora, and several super powered Phantom Zod soldiers, in his Batwing,
alongside the military and a make shift Justice League of a couple of Flashes, and a newly released Supergirl, made my day.
Kind of gives us a look at how Afleck's Batman would have responded to General Zod's attack on Metropolis,had he already met Superman and Wonder Woman.

So awesome to see Keaton back. I remember when I was kid loving Batman but more specifically the batmobile, so every year I would go see an uncle of mine, and every time he had a batmobile for me, and I remember this one specific time where I had just gotten into Michael Keatons Batman and went to one of the family gatherings and he brought out this rare Keaton batmobile, and ever since I was a kid that has been my favorite Batmobile. RIP Uncle Jr

Seeing Michael Keaton as Batman again my inner child screamed.

Getting to see Michael Keaton playing batman again is gonna be greater than the actual movie itself. The young people just aren't gonna understand how legendary it is.
The Tim Burton Batman movies, whether you mention the first two or all four, get the same treatment as the original Star Wars movies. I think it certainly helps out when you have the DCEU/DCU, Arrowverse, and HBO Max pumping out crossover events. I don't really enjoy CW at all, but I'll give credit where it's due. It cameos a bunch of old shows and movie series. Reeves Supes, Smallville, The Flash (1990s), Keanu Constantine, Lucifer, that 2000s Birds of Prey show. It shows a lot of stuff in the form of cinematic multiverses.
