I love the idea of the entrance having an arbor too. Can not have too many roses. Especially if they are fragrant!
I'm here 4 years later after a small garden tour that ended on those Colette roses. I was curious to remind myself what they looked like when you planted them. They were definitely the right choice. Seriously considering adding one to my garden!
And now there really IS a big arborvitae wall!!
Two treats today! Your beautiful arbors with the roses...love! And precious Benjamin in his adorable baseball cap!💙
The arbors are just beautiful. But the definite star of this video was Benjamin! How adorable is he--so cute in his little outfit. He looks like he will be out there gardening with Mommy and Daddy real soon!
I think only having two is perfect. Maybe three would be to many. Plus I like the touch of having the planters in front of the driveway one. It keeps it fun and open for more change to an entrance.
Very nice. We gardeners have to have a "vision" of what things will look like. I think yours will be super. The one advice I always give "new" gardeners is to leave plenty of room for plants and shrubs to grow. Otherwise, all your plans go right out the window.
Benjamin in his baseball cap is the perfect touch to this video! Thank you for the update on your vegetable garden! It’s looking AMAZING! I’m happy your dreams are turning into reality!
I like the 2 arbors. Everything else about the area is even and symmetrical. The front entrance to the garden looks beautiful as is. And thank you for sharing clips with Benjamin He’s adorable.
By the comments, it's great to see how much joy a single child can bring to so many people.
no arbor in front. Charming just as it is... Love the front pots...
Benjamin looks like he’s ready to take over! So cute ❤️😊
Awe so sweet! Loved seeing Benjamin in your video, he’s growing in leaps and bounds. Love the idea of having only two arbors and being able to change out the plants in the pots. Looking forward to watching the roses grow and climb the arbors, it’ll be beautiful! We have the large gorilla cart & I love it! I use it to haul just about everything....not sure how I ever lived without it. Thanks & enjoy the day! 😉🦋🌸🐝
No arbor at drive area. Three would just be overkill of a good thing. IMHO I can't wait to see what you do this fall with the climbers. It is going to be a beauty. I have a David Austin climber and at a loss of how to keep it groomed.
So sweet!! Love the ending, talking about teaching Benjamin how to prune the willow tree 😂
LOVE, love, love the arbors and roses so much. I can't believe Benjamin will keep that hat on. My babies would always pull them off about as soon as I put them on them.
Oh Baby!!! Little man little man!!! 💙 He is SOOO CUTE!!! 💙 He will be running around before you know it. Amazing how fast little ones grow!! You are Blessed Parents!!😇
Love the 🌹 arbor addition and the fact you did a black stain for the arbor and fence. Really makes the area pop! I personally think you should not use a third arbor. One, because it will be more along the driveway, but also, I think it will distract from your nice view of the garden when you're looking from the house. And of course, love the you share little Benjamin with us. You don't have to but choose to and he's such a cutie. And the sweet, but funny snark dig about the willows, busted me up! Aaron will never live it down! 🤣
Love the harbors. I have the small cart. Given to me by my parents and I love it. Always a bonus to see your son.
Honestly, I love your videos. But last few seconds were just what I needed. Benjamin is cutest. Can't wait to see him grow up as your beautiful garden does. God bless.
Awe, So glad we got to see Benjamin! He sure has grown. Love your garden!
Love the arbors. You don't need one in the front it looks great just the way you have it. Also I can't believe how big Benjamin is getting. So cute. I bet you have your hands full. Love all your videos. Tell Aaron he does a great job filming and editing also. God Bless
I like the area with two arbors, they will tie in with the pathway that will run to the back corner of the arborvitaes... I like the pots on the driveway entryway. Love your videos, and any baby cameos are awesome too ♥️
Benjamin is perfect! I had to rewatch the video bc he distracted me and I wasn't listening! I think adding the third arbor will unify and complete the look. Keep the containers on either side. Either way, just beautiful and beautiful family 💚
Oh my gosh!! Benjamin is just precious!! 😍 what a good little boy he is!! He must have a good mama!! 😉 i love how you threw in a willow pruning jab at daddy! 😂 Lol Love the arbor!! Cant wait to see the Rose's fill in!!
Jacquey C. Benjamin has a good mama, a good daddy, and two good sets of grands as far as I can see! A wonderful boy he will be!
Sandy Makin definitely!! Didnt meant to leave daddy or grandparents out of that equation! Family is the backbone to everything in life!
Love love love the veggie garden. The arbors at either end are beautiful but if you have the room, I would add a third one at the front to tie it all together. Or maybe a double gate that opens in to welcome you into the garden.
Love your videos and watching your lovely family grow. God bless.
The two arbors are perfect!! I like the large pots in the front because you can change the look each year. Beautiful roses!! Benjamin is so adorable and getting so big!! Thank you for sharing.
I think you should do a third. As a florist we were taught odd numbers were more appealing on the eye.
Benjamin is so cute and he is growing so fast. I love when you bring him in your videos. What a wonderful family you have. You are blessed.
Yes Laura, I like the way you did it, with the 2 arbors and the 2 planters in front. I don't think you need a third arbor. The planters add a nice change/different element to the overall design. Looks perfect with the lavender and the smaller area in front for planting.
I was watching this with my four year old daughter and commented how beautiful the area looks. She added, “Yes, and she is beautiful too!”.
Those climbers are going to be one happy couple.
Hi! Laura, I read somewhere that is you weave the climbing roses in an S pattern on the trellis it will produce more flowers. Benjamin is so adorable. Blessing for your family. 😊
Arbors look amazing!!! I think you should add the third arbor. It would be the finishing touches on your garden. Just my opinion.
Benjamin is such a cutie pie. Thanks for sharing your family with us. 🌻💕
Linda Lee 2 is good 3 maybe too many
me too
Love the arbors with the roses! I agree with the others, 2 arbors are perfect for the garden. What a nice surprise at the end to see Benjamin!
Hi, lovely roses, they'll be SO pretty against the black, the veg has really grown, I spied some nice tomatoes, I was thinking I like the arbors on all the openings, but now seeing it with the big containers, and the lavender border, LOVE that.!!, I like that better. Hugs an kisses to Benjamin, missed Russell, he's such a ham.
I remember holding my babies and rocking back and forth as I talked as you were doing. Such beautiful memories. Those roses will look amazing. I know you have already decided on whether to have a side arbor but I just watched this and think - no, do some wonderful pots as you have done. I love to see all the creative ideas you have to complete those and it would be like a beautiful front door welcoming visitors. I adore the arbors and especially the roses you picked out. I keep going back every time I get time, to watch more previous videos so will eventually see what you decided. So happy that I found you and have subscribed. (Just finished my first kitchen garden and am thrilled. Your spirit is contagious!
Yes. Add another arbor! I love your ideas in the garden. Wish I had more land.🌹
I am going to plant a Red Robin rose this weekend!!! I plant constantly too... Now is a good time for us as we are getting a ton of rain! Love the roses!!!! 👍😁
Beautiful, I wouldn't put an arbor at the driveway. Benjamin is so cute love his little hat.
Wonderful to see your plan executed! Yes, please review the garden carts!
Agghhhhh! Benjamin is getting soooo big! Sweet baby --so happy to be looking around at the landscape while Mama talked about roses. 🌹 ~Such a blessing y'all are!
Beautiful arbors, roses, and beautiful little Benjamin! Thank you so much for sharing your garden and life, your videos are such an inspiration to me. Instead of the 3rd arbor, how about putting some pretty garden column or pedestals on either side of that entrance? Therefore you could still arrange pots or seasonal decorations on top or around it. Think it will be cute come Fall with some pumpkins on it too.
I really wanted to learn about those roses but that sweet baby just kept my attention. He’s so cute!!!!
I love love the arbors, so beautiful. Love the ebony stain, so very striking. So much fun watching you with Benjamin in the garden. He is such a sweet boy and love seeing him experience new of touching plants and the feel of grass on his little bare feet. Thank you so much for sharing so much wonderful information and watching him grow.
You just couldn’t resist getting in that dig about the willow tree. Good job, Laura. Keep him on his toes. He’ll never make that mistake again.
I'm only 27 years old and really into gardening for the first time in my life. as small as my garden is, i have watched your videos to plant some of my plants, including a climbing rose. i love your videos and just wanted to tell you how beautiful your garden is and how inspiring it is!!! please never stop making videos :)
Two is definitely enough! You don’t want to take away from the two beautiful ones by having four.
Hi Laura! I'm sorry but when Benjamin in present, I watch him and can't take my attention off of him. He's sooooo CUTE! (I rewind to view your presentation again.) Lots of Love to you all!
I love the black stain, its very sophisticated. Two harbors look very balanced. I love it!!
I think a really cute decorative gate at the driveway garden entrance that would blend in with the fence would be gorgeous!
Love the look of two arbors on each end. Such a sweet baby boy too.
You are such a Jewell to us gardeners. Thankyou!
Great video arbors look beautiful best part was to see little Benjamin at the end🌸
I love this so much. Your garden is full of goals for me. Can you talk about pruning your vegetables? How do you know what to prune and what not to?
Just simply beautiful Laura! I see your vision and love your idea with the arbor. And I would say yes do something on the carts! I think it will do well for someone that has a huge yard like you guys have! Plus it part of gardening! 😊
Ok I say nay to a front arch, and yay for a review of the wagons!
I was given the big Gorilla Cart with the 1,200lb capacity for Mothers Day. Its AMAZING! I lucked into about two tons of free rock to edge all of my flower beds. The Gorilla Cart moved them as easy as pie. Its sturdy, rolls like a dream even fully loaded with rock over uneven terrain. Highly recommend.
I started gardening a year ago and find all your videos so helpful. Just bought a metal arch and climbing roses. Thanks for showing me how to 👍
Just beautiful, Laura!! And Benjamin is so precious!!
Absolutely love my Gorilla cart. 7cubic feet. Perfect size and it gets used almost daily. Moved 4 tons of boulders with it, 15 yards of dirt and about 60 yards of mulch thus far.
Your arbors are gorgeous! Of course, that beautiful baby was the star of the video, but I did enjoy seeing your arbors. :)
When I grow roses on arbors, trellises, etc, I try to train them in a Z shape. They will bloom better if they're grown as close to horizontal as you can manage. Of course having them bloom only at the top is perfectly fine, too; you could always grow clematis or some other blooming vine to cover the roses' legs.
I think putting another arbor at the front will be good. yes- on the carts! And love the roses!!! One day i will have a garden with arbors and climbing roses! This is so inspiring! And little Benjamin is getting so big! So cute!
Love the arbors Laura! I wouldn't put in another arbor along the driveway. It's beautiful just as it is with the containers. Thank you for showing cutie pie Benjamin!
Four years on, this video was suggested in my feed. 👍
I love catching up on the older videos, seeing how Benjamin has grown along with your landscape.
Funny that your tradition of ragging on Aaron about his tree trimming is still going on today. 🍀
It's gonna look gorgeous!!! Love the pink rose against the black arbor and fence!! Benjamin is the sweetest lil boy ever!!
I would love to see the roses growing on the trellis. Please post updates. I like the roses as you have it, another set would detract from the beauty of the vegetable garden. It was a bonus to see Benjamin update as well.
I'm addicted to your videos!
Love that little boy of yours.
I think some kind of gate would be nice.Put a fence all the way around the curtain but little critters can still get in where there is no gate. Good video Benjamin is so cute
Looks very beautiful Laura! Benjamin is so beautiful also...I love how he was looking around and getting excited at what he was seeing!
Hi Laura! ....love your gardens! I wouldn't put a third arbour at the front entrance.....BUT....I would put a gate with a curvy top and an insert that mimics the trellis work....stained, of course like the rest of it. I am more cottage/country/wild woodland garden style than you are but I so enjoy your videos and have used some of your ideas and plant combos. Keep the inspirational/informative videos coming.....they sure help me get through a cold Canadian winter!
You are such an inspiring woman Laura! And Benjamin is so cute.
Omg,your son is beautiful like his parents ,love love love what you've done with your new home lately🙏👊✌😸💖🐰🐧🐴🐢🐣
It really takes the whole area to the next level! Very exciting!
Benjamin is looking very sporty today! So adorable! ❤️
Benjamin is so precious!!! He is starting to look so much like Aaron!
Thank God Benjamin woke up!! I literally squealed when I saw him!! Laura, he is so precious. The arbors look great, I’ve been waiting to see them and I think you made the right decision!
The arbours are lovely. You could always straddle the fence for the centre one, that would only stick out into the driveway by half the width. Just a thought. Benjamin has grown so much. He is quite the little boy now and lovely with it. Love your vlog. They always inspire me. I planted Autumn pots last year after watching you do some. They were lovely and I shall do some this Autumn when the summer ones start to fade. Love from the uk. Jude xx
Oh my gosh! He's so big! Such a lucky boy, he's gonna have a beautiful life.
My opinion is everything you do is perfection! Thanks for all the months of inspiration since i found you! I love learning from ppl who, love gardening as much as i do! Thanks laura and aaron!
Sweet Benjamin! Love the hat on him. ❤ Arbors/roses look fabulous. I vote to put the arbor at the driveway too. ☺
Love the arbors! The roses are perfect. I'd leave the front open for awhile, I like the fact you can see into the garden when you drive slowly by. You can always add one later.
Hi precious Benjamin! You are a show stealer! Much love to you, your momma and dadda ❤️
Yes on the Arbor and I have a garden cart but the tires deflated in a month I think there plastic it would be nice to see a video on garden carts. And Benjamin is so cute he is so ready to run around the garden he is so blessed. ❤
Love the arbor and roses!!
I had to watch this twice because once you brought Benjamine out, I didn't hear a word you said...Lol
He is so CUTE in his cap and I couldn't take my eyes off him!
That little boy will enjoy playing under the willow trees, I bet!! I love those trees too!
My 4 year old asks to watch the “girl who makes flowers”. He says he loves you a little bit! Videos the whole family can enjoy! Thank you!
Yes Laura! Please teach us how to prune a willow tree! LOL! I have a large willow and I refuse to trim it straight across so I just push mow under it. Benjamin is sooo precious! Thank you for sharing him with us.
Just the 2 arbors is perfect.
Benjamin is too cute!!!!!
The arbors are gorgeous. No need for the extra one.
Love th on the climbing Roses! And love the arnors! Benjamin is getting so big for no older than he is! He's so cute!

Russell C me FIVE! :)
Awww Benjamin 💓 I love seeing him on your video, please do more!
Beautiful! Yes, put another arbor in:)
Arbors are beautiful! I vote to add the third one in front. It is a grander entrance to the garden than the pots. Also Benjamin is such a cutie! Loved seeing him tug on the willow tree. ❤️
I think 2 arbors look perfect.
The roses took a backseat today....Benjamin is so sweet and growing so fast! Must have more Benjamin Garden Answer Videos :)
I heard something about roses, but then i got overwhelmed with baby!! He is getting so big and i think he looks like Laura! He seems like a very sweet baby! Love you guys!!!! xxxo
The willow looks perfect next to th e vegetable garden and arbor.
“You’re not going to learn how to prune willow trees from your daddy.” 😂
I’ve been a fan all this time to know what this was about. 😎 Big fan.
Me too!! 😜💕
Aaron once trimmed the willow to look like an upside down bowl shape so that the branches didn’t hit him when he mowed underneath. Laura said she nearly cried😭😭😭
And then in another video she said it turned out OK. But it sounds like she is never going to let Aaron forget!
Aww Benjamin! So cute!
