''Mary Valley Rattler'' 2010. Past memories.

(Old memories. The Mary Valley Rattler closed in 2012 and reopened in October 2018 thanks to a lot of dedicated hard work and a govt. grant it now attracts over 20,000 visitors a year). Easter 2010 I was in Gympie singing at the Queensland Eisteddfod, so on Easter Sunday I took my High Definition HDV Camcorder to the Old Gympie Station and shot these scenes of the Rattler and also of the Old Gympie Station Precinct. Amazing how different it all looked back then: it's all been done up now including the Railway Hotel, Footbridge and Trackwork. Compare it to the video I took on my May 2024 visit.
