I have a good size wheat farm in kansas (the wheat state) i grew some emmer and Einhorn for seed last year. I want to plant a large field to it but I need buyers. Does anyone know for certain where I could sell it? I can grow it organic pretty easily so if anyone needs this grain in the upcoming years I can grow it for you but I need to know!

I have been making sandwich buns with einkorn because I had no success making a loaf of bread- It takes experimenting to make einkorn bread. I FINALLY MADE A GOOD ONE! I use Fresh milled einkorn, a cup of hot water, a tablespoon of honey and almost a tablespoon of RED MILL yeast, mixed, then added to 2 cups of einkorn flour with a teaspoon of salt. you mix just until it;'s wet. then stop and stick it someplace warm COVERED with plastic wrap . Let it rise, and every hour fold it over into itself. 3 times, then let it rise overnight. The folding over is hard because its really sticky- wetting your hands helps. I put it into a microwave with a hot stone to keep it warm while rising. The next day form it onto about 6 balls- you will see it's less sticky and more like regular flour and a little more 'stretchy'. Flatten them slightly and put them on a BUTTERED (!!! dont forget or they will stick) cookie sheet. Let them rise for another hour, in a warm place- brush them with an egg wash. This puts a really nice crust on them. I bake them for 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degF on a pre-heated pizza stone (put the tray right on it) THEY COME OUT SO NICE AND CHEWY!! I love them so much - I finally made a good sandwich bun I love- I made them 3 days in a row. I've been dying for a tuna melt and open face tuna sandwiches and a hamburger!!! and these are perfect.

This is fantastic to hear about Jovial and see this video. Unfortunately I have become gluten intolerant, but don't know if it's Celiac. I had a pretty bad episode after all the gluten-ladin Christmas food this past Christmas and I'm still in recovery. Unfortunately unless you're actively eating gluten, they can't test for Celiac in a Coloscopy. If anyone knows a way to determine this while remaining gluten free, I'd love peoples input. Maybe a home test of some kind? I would love to start baking with Einkorn, but just can't take the risk quite yet due to how much gluten set me back over the past month. Thanks for this video!! I’m hyper sensitive to ANY Soy product or by-product including Soy lecithin which is in so many store bought breads! So I’m going to look into making my own bread with this special wheat. How do you keep insects off? In France they grow lavender for 10 years before planting the Einkorn. This wards off insects and disease. Do you spray any sort of pesticides?
What a great work you are doing! I truly love Einkorn but didn't have the chance to get Jovial brand because Amazon doesn't deliver it to Sweden, where I live.. How could US have it but not us? I tried the Swedish einkorn and didn't like it so much.
I'm about to order some of your wheat seeds for my own homestead. Is Amazon the only place that sells your wheat here in the US? How much would need to be purchased to cover an acre of land?
I bought some Einkorn wheat berries from you but they wouldn't sprout cuz your company said they removed the hull. They said it was to have longer shelf life. But I heard on another video, that the berries, if not sprouted yet, has a very long shelf life and other companies sell them with the hull. Please clarify. Thanks
How is your all purpose flour made. It is super refined or does it have the nutrients in it still. I am so excited to switch to Einkorn. We bought Carla's book and 25 pounds of whole Einkorn. But we are thinking we will need to purchase the all-purpose flour for you.
Our flour is stone ground. It is not enriched, bleached or bromated. We do sell wheat berries in 1 lb and 10 lb boxes so that our customers can grind on demand for freshness.
Our whole wheat is just the wheat berries ground into flour; nothing added, nothing removed. Our AP flour is the whole wheat with only 20% of the bran and germ removed; (also not bleached, bromated or enriched).
I don't understand why your grain is so expensive. Costs to raise it are much less than hybridized wheat - and the yield per s.f. is enormously higher than hybridized wheat.
Thanks for your comment! In fact, it is just the opposite! Because it is unhybridized, einkorn wheat is a very low-yielding crop in comparison to modern wheat. Yields are a fifth of modern wheat.
Do not buy the processed flour as they have taken out the good oils our bodies need and the bran which is fiber our bodies need to have easy bowl movements. Every time mankind gets his hands on something they always mess with it so they can put it on a store shelf. Buy the berries and grind yourself. I do not buy from Jovial because of what they are doing processing good stuff out to make shelf stable just like big wheat companies. I but 50lb bag of Einkorn from Breadtopia because they are cheaper than Jovial. And no I get nothing from Breadtopia but a great unmessed with product at a gread price.
So sad to hear Carla passed away in May 2021. She seemed like such a peaceful soul and I thank her so much for my Einkorn bread making experience.🙏

Hi Charity. All of our products are certified organic, so we never use any pesticides. Basically, we plant the wheat and hope for the best!
