And welcome to our Scotland Photography Road Trip.
As we leave the Misty Isle we get shown this amazing little Harbour... with still waters and also a ship wreck it turns out to be a Landscape Photographers dream location.
This location was also part of The Wickerman film set, so I'm sure you will be able to decipher this location for yourselves.
It's a short and sweet one this week so hope you enjoy what we managed to capture.

It certainly is, and yeah it's a bit of a trek hence we called on our way back from Skye 👍🏻
Not exactly a secret... it's been used as a location for at least one feature film "The Wicker Man" and a successful BBC TV series" Hamish Macbeth".
Not many"locals" there these days 🤔... lots of second homes and air bnbs instead 😲☹️

90% of people who have been to Skye will know it well, but thanks for showing it once more.
There are not many 'real' locals living there any more and have been displaced mostly by people from the south that have moved there, and one can certainly see why. With inflated property costs locals cannot afford to buy property therefore have to move. The location is Plockton and you are allowed to photograph there so enjoy. Happy images....
I know, I was just respecting the wishes of what I was asked.
And years we were told about its now mainly holiday let's which is a shame 😪
Why disclose the area when it has clearly been said not to
The other half of the story of the locals leaving is that the younger generation are simply not prepared to put up with the quality of life of their parents and grandparents. These are hard places to make a decent living. There are abandoned houses across the Highlands and Islands. In the best locations, like this one, houses are maintained and used for holidays or retirement - and they are expensive.

I respect your point, but no one has the right to stop you taking photographs from where the video was taken. It is not an area where there are hoards of photographers and if this was so then I would respect the wishes of one property owner who requested discretion of locality. @@darrenwaite806
The locals asked you not to disclose the location? Oh come off it - it's Plockton (Am Ploc), one of the most famous harbours in Scotland. Locals would never tell anyone that. There's a visitor centre and Hamish MacBeth was filmed there. The only local that told you that was probably a settler who bought a weekend cottage who forced the real locals out of their homes. Next time a "local" in the highlands tells you that, tell them "chan fhaigh thu cuidhteas dhìom cho luath ri sin!" Jeez
Hi Stuart, thank you for your comment, as previously stated in other comments, I was merely respecting the wishes of what I was asked on the day, whether a settler or native I did not disclose the location in the video out of sheer respect. I am fully aware of the film locations this place has been featured in, hence why we visited and respected the wishes.
