That is awesome that Mt Holly is putting that in.
I was at The Highlands a few weeks ago and rode their new Camelot lift. It's cool they are putting in another new one!

Great info, as always. Love the details, MZ! As fabulous as new chair lifts are, this often coincides with the removal of a piece of history. Is it weird to say it's actually kind of relieving that the list stands at only Three? Every time my butt hits a rickety, good ol' midwest double, there's a smile on my face.

It’s a balance Forsure but the reality is it gets harder and harder to find parts for some of these machines and the new tensions, drives, and controls are a huge upgrade from the OGs. I do agree tho, I certainly don’t mind an old hall or riblet double chair 👊

Is there any more details about what Afton Alps will do with chairlift 18 since they removed it to make space for snow tubing?

Likely scrap and save a few parts for their other lifts. Vail isn’t really in the business of selling their old equipment other than some rare charity events/items
