If I recall correctly, when this video was first released the fanbase was split - some loved it, others hated it for simply being the metal genre. I'm just happy more people appreciate this music now :)

@@AlexNMQ Things don't change that much in just a year or two buddy. Rock and Heavy Metal are very, very popular genres. Also Riot has access to some of the biggest talent as shown with Mortal Reminder.

@@AlexNMQ You make it seem like rock was some big thing back in 2017. Rock was the dominant genre decades ago, it's be out of the spotlight for a while, but it's still popular in certain communities, and the gaming community especially seems to really enjoy rock and metal, which i'm cool with as i love both. I mean since the time of rock we've been through grunge, punk, rap and now we're sorta seeing that morph into something else.
But the reason that there was so many Pentakill songs made has nothing to do with the popularity of rock and metal in 2017, it has to do with the fact that the riot music team likes the music. Some of the Riot music team actually played on the albums and played some Pentakill live shows. Also compared to the new stuff which is all collabs which require gathering up a ton of reasonably well know artists (on in the case of Soyeon quite famous) which is expensive, for Pentakill other than Jorn Lande being fairly well know within the metal community they could just get session musicians to play which would have kept the costs down. Also no big live show with lots of CGI.

Maybe he was already a Bard that chose to become a Lich afterwards. They do benefit from high Charisma.

So most likely a Wizard Lich, who got bored after a long life and started a band and multiclassed into a Bard
