    Just did a tasting. Definitely taste the cooked agave up front, solid oak taste from the barrel, slight caramel and vanilla on the back end. Really good Anejo. Thanks for the recommendation Mark

    Is this comparable in terms of "Smoothness"to Don julio añejo,because I like the taste profile of Don Julio but bottle is almost empty so I'm looking for something new here.Arette sounds promising. Great channel btw 👍

      It's way better than Don Julio Anejo.. Much better flavor, creamier mouthfeel and super easy to drink... hands down no comparison..

    I like Arette better than the more expensive brands I've had. The Artisanal is a bit smoother and more finished but for the price, their regular repo is real close and a real bargain.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I prefer the Artisanal Suave more personally.

      @@TheTequilaHombre : I agree it's better but is it twice as good for twice the price? I don't think so but It's still not expensive so go for it. Still, $28 vs $55 (Dec 2021 in Chicago) is significant.

    • @TheTequilaHombre

      @@lrvogt1257 I think its worth the price.. I get that for some people price is a huge factor in what they buy.. Nothing wrong with that. You can't go wrong with anything from Arette. Their base line is too harsh for me as a sipper..

    • @tiredoffools8929
      @tiredoffools8929 Před 3 lety +1

      @michael batts I'm not sure if you enjoy all tequila classifications (Blanco, Respo, Anejo, etc.) some only like Blancos, some only like the aged stuff.... but if you do appreciate a Blanco and ever get a chance to try Arette Blanco, you'll be blow away how much better than Patron it is. Also how inexpensive in comparison. About half the price. I did a blind tasting with a bunch of Tequila heads and their significant others and the lineup was served in chilled black shot glasses. The contenders were a mix of Patron Silver, Arette Blanco, QUI, and Maesto Doble Diamante. All of the tequilas were chilled for 30 mins prior to serving. Arette Blanco beat all competitors 17 out of 21 first place spots and really shocked most of us. QUI had the most second places at 9. At that point I hadn't tasted it before, and I only bought the Arette because I needed a 5 option, and another trusted friend not attending had recommended it. Mind you, I'm talking about the standard Arette, and not the Artesanal Suave line that is being reviewed in this video. The Artisanal Suave line is harder to come by on the EAST COAST, but I can't wait to get my hands of this Artesanal Suave Anejo. I can only imagine.
