- Today was as good as it gets at Whistler Blackcomb. Over 30cm of snow fell in Whistler and the temps stayed cold from the village to the summit. On days like this you need to take full advantage and ski the amazing selection of runs on the Whistler mid-mountain. @@riseandalpine all the work you put in is really evident - we hope you keep it up! Hehe yes chairlifts have been buried, but we’ve had three bluebird days in row so things are cranking again. Yesterday some untracked unicorn sparkle snow ⚡️
Love the skiing, but as a parent trying to teach my kids to look out for others I loved the moment you took to check in with the downed person.

The day you filmed this was my first day at whistler after skiing the east coast all my life. Probably the best ski day of my life. I love your videos man keep up the amazing work!

Skied Blackcomb Monday and Tuesday. It was EASILY the best conditions of the year. The powder was incredible, especially in Hortsman and 7th Heaven.

Conditions were epic! The interior is so much chiller in terms of lift lines. Just got back from a Pow Highway trip and seriously considering moving out that way.
@@riseandalpine yep went to red last time snow maybe not as much as whistler but there was literally nobody there and the skiing was absolutely brilliant such a friendly place as well met so many great people.

probably ski down to excelerator
Ski down to Excel & Jersey and mixing in Catskinner too. Usually takes a few hours for the gondola to settle down.
what time in the morning did you line up? i was there that day but taking the bus from Vancouver so with the traffic wasn't even up to roundhouse till like 10am. Still a great day, but missed all the morning glory
I was there at like 7:30. Slept overnight to dodge the traffic. So hard to get to Whis from Van on a big snow day.
@@riseandalpine 10-4 thanks. The bus is great because I can just pop an edible and crush a beer before passing out for the drive back to Van, but not cutting it for a proper snow day. Now I know what time to be there!
@@dz_ca totally! I used to run that bus all the time. So nice doing an apres and a nap. Way cheaper than gas too.
