How To Clean Your Hearing Aids At Home (Simple)

Hello, I’m Paul Bryant from MDHearingAid, and I'm going to walk you through how to keep your hearing aids clean, show you every step to maintain your hearing aids, and even give helpful troubleshooting tips if your hearing aid suddenly stops working.
I will also show you how often you need to clean your hearing aids, whether you should use water or alcohol to clean your hearing aids, and how often you need to replace the tips and tubing on your hearing aid.
(HINT: Don’t use alcohol!)
We’re going to be focusing on cleaning a BTE hearing aid. BTE stands for “behind the ear”.
If your BTE hearing aid isn’t properly cleaned, you won’t be able to hear. In fact, your hearing aid could stop working entirely. In this video, you will learn how to keep your hearing aids sounding like new by cleaning your hearing aid tubing, cleaning the ear tip on your hearing aid, cleaning the body of your hearing aid, and even cleaning your hearing aid's microphones.
