*Note: I would like to clarify that when I state that I was doing up to 15 hours a day of Yoga, it should be known that there were different forms involved. Meditation is considered a form of Yoga ( Dhyana) and volunteer work is also considered a type of Yoga ( Seva). It was not the case that I was doing Hatha Yoga or yogic postures ( Asanas) for 15 hours but rather a combination of all of the above as well as other forms.
Deception is the name of the game. Yoga is NOT what it appears to be dear friends...I tell you from personal experience. Christian Yoga is an oxymoron. 1 Corinthians 10:21 " Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."
Yoga is not just stretching or physical exercise as is the common deception. The only thing that benefits all aspects of your life is godliness. 1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

I read a book many years ago written by a man who said yoga was demonic. I have been a Christian for many years, and I thought this man was going overboard. About 10 years ago, my best friend bought a yoga exercise book. She asked me if I would try one of the exercises that she could not do because I was in better physical shape. I did the exercise and immediately felt a presence enter me, asI am very sensitive to these things. I went home and asked Jesus Christ to forgive me and cleanse me, which He did. About two years after that, I was walking along the beach one morning and I saw a woman doing a yoga position. She was standing on one leg with her arms up around her head. The Lord opened my spiritual eyes and I saw a serpent looking demon and it was coiled all the way around her body. It was doing something sexual to her. It was so perverted and disgusting I became sick to my stomach and had to look away. Jesus Christ is truly the only begotten Son of God. Do not judge Him by Christian peoples' failure to represent Him correctly. He is waiting for you to call upon Him so He can cleanse you and reconcile you to your heavenly Father. He truly is the Way and the Truth and the Life. Blessings to all.

My sister got involved with Transcendental Meditation, so involved she became a teacher. We experienced many weird things because of her involvement with this. I warned her that the Hindu gods she was inviting in her heart were what Christians would call demons. My sister died about 2 years ago. She developed breast cancer, but it had moved into the bone. She died in agony. She would not speak to me as she knew I'd only be there praying for her.
After she died, her husband being also involved with it, would not let me speak to her, said she actually wanted to talk to me, he would not allow it.
This is the cruelty of the demons. Healing has surrounded by life. Which is not to say that I've always been well, but I have found strength and faith in Jesus. My son was miraculously healed of Autism. My husband's life was saved 3 times. So many answers to prayer.

Yoga has roots in Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism and was a part of a religious practice. Western culture just happen to label it as exercise and ignore all of the historical and spiritual implications.
My daughter is very into yoga.She's getting entire family into it.I try to tell her - she won't listen! She still claims to be Christian - but says yoga helps her with stress.It HAS done her GOOD-HOWEVER - believe it's a lie.Just LISTEN to this woman here. Nobody WANTS to listen b/c they think it harmless & it makes them "feel good".Read Timothy1:4 Will somebody PLEASE LISTEN?

I had a similar experience with wanting to end my life because I was facing a very difficult situation. I couldn't contemplate going through with what faced me and along with other things I had gone through as a young adult and teen I wanted to give up on life. I also searched the internet. I had been practising meditation and yoga for about 3 years and was attending a Buddhist temple also weekly to meditate. I can also relate when you said no one from that community wanted to help you in your time of need. I went in desperation to the Buddhist temple during my dark time where I could not get rid off the thoughts of suicide and they were not even interested in listening to why I had come, but just told me they were closed and shut the door. It was through a dream that I encountered Christ. The dream is still vivid to this day. I cried out for Jesus to save me within this dream and he came to me. The short version is that when I woke up I felt completely different. I knew Jesus was real and the peace he put in me showed me that the 'peace' I had received from my times of meditation were temporary and false. I also felt like everything was new and he gave me a strength and courage to face what was still in front of me. Although I went through a very dark time, it was all worth it to know the Truth. I also experienced the waking up and choking. However what I am confused about is why I still at times get demonic spiritual attacks especially when I am sleeping. My dad is Hindu and I know through spiritual discernment that my sister-in-law who is also Hindu and very religious has a strong dislike to me (I know this is spiritual). I have to live in my parents house at the moment with my son. I had dream recently showing me demonic man (he looked normal but I know he had bad intentions) coming out of my dad's room. This man had a dog which he left at our house. This dog was unpredictable and dangerous. But we managed to avoid it and get out of the house. I don't know what I should take from that but I know it's not good.
+Kizzi blue Thank you SO MUCH for sharing it was a blessing to read all you wrote! Halleluyah for that dream! About the choking thing, it seems it is a very common tactic of demons. Even after getting saved we may still get attacks..I have also had it in sleep and such. Now however through the power and authority of the Holy Spirit we can rebuke and cast away demonic principalities in the name of Yeshua/Jesus! The spiritual warfare in that home must be very strong as I would imagine it would be.

I couldn't thank you enough for sharing your own experiences about yoga! I've recently found our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and still struggle with maintaining a steadfast and grounded belief in Him with all the deception taking place in this world. I stumbled upon your video seeking some answers regarding the practice of yoga because recently my fiancee' went with a friend to try "Dahn yoga". Unbeknownst to me, she has been feeling an increase of anxiety and "fogginess" she decided to go with her friend to try it out. She came saying she felt great and felt as if her mind was clear. Unfortunately, I couldn't share in her pleasure about this because I've always felt this strong skepticism with the practice based on my own knowledge that it practices achieving an altered state of consciousness. I pray that God can reach out to her and help her see that Yeshua is the way. May God bless you for speaking the truth about this matter!

Thank you for this! This was awesome. I was a part of a cult too, Mormonism. But the past couple of years Jesus was revealing to me all of the false doctrine of their religion and stuff. Then being the curious guy I am I looked into Eastern religions and mysticism, but Jesus always pulls me back to him!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful testimony! I can relate a lot, as I had a full blown Kundalini awakening and for ten years I battled for my body, mind and soul. I had many seasons of heavy spiritual warfare. I too called on the Lord Jesus Christ and he delivered me from all of the demonic attacks and evil spiritual experiences.
There is still a lot that happened to me that I don't understand but I try not to worry about it too much now that I have found peace. It is quite interesting though to contemplate from time to time. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions? There aren't many people I can talk to about my experiences without being labeled as insane.

In India, they teach that there is NO Hinduism WITHOUT yoga, and NO yoga WITHOUT Hinduism. There is no separating the two into spiritual and physical exercises/stretching. If you claim to know Christ, stay away from yoga.

I had similar experience. Early 2011, I heard someone briefly mention chakras and how opening them is really good, so I did more research online and started watching CZcams videos and practicing the chants. I felt AMAZING for the first year I was practicing it and I really thought I was returning back to my pure "original" self. I had strong connection to nature and the stars, etc. I was at a high point. Then, summer 2012, it seemed like everything crashed literally overnight, and to this day I fully don't know why. I was TOO open, so I was taking in bad energies of others and I'd become extremely paranoid. I felt weird pulls in my chakras and I literally felt energy draining from me. And all the sudden I was now feeling weird creepy vibes and certain objects just looked scary. In my house, I practically witness demons and could describe their ugliness, filthiness, and sick humor just by the bad vibes I was getting. My head chakra, which was once so opened and wise was now shut and I couldn't help thinking so critically and negatively. And the worst part was, I was so calm and wise the year prior. It was like everything was moving backwards and I was downgrading.
Long story short, I also began getting into Christianity bc it was my last hope. I'm not fully healed yet, but things are A LOT better thanks to Jesus. Now when I quote scriptures, those scary vibes go away instantly. He IS the only name. Thanks so much for sharing your testimony. This stuff is not something to play around with!
Amen yes Yeshua/Jesus is the ONLY way! Thank you for sharing your experience. So true it is nothing to play around with. The deception when it feels good is just like a drug, in the euphoric state of it you think you are doing so good, but in actuality the drug is hurting you sooner or later. What is fascinating to me is that the Holy Spirit is guiding me around on the web and You Tube to show me spiritual paths I am curious about, but to stay away from! This is a prime example, thank you for your testimoney! Fortunately I have a very ancient Eastern Christian formation and heritage dating back to Byzantium which is powerful, and calls me back when I stray too far. The Ancient Fathers are the wisest and the truest, rooted deeply in the "conscousness" of Jesus Christ. There is no other name given from Heaven except Him, who because of unfathonable Love, manifested himself on Earth, to preserve His children save humankind! I too have tried it all over the past 30 years, and find myself turning back to the reality of the Holy Trinity. This woman is wise to warn others of opening up the temple of your body to the disturbing hidden world of malevolent spiritual beings and false or misleading knowledge and practices..

Purvigiggle the Holy Spirit just ran through me as you spoke on this in your full testimony. There are soooooo many simple in my face deceptions of the enemy in my everyday life! The serpent is cunning and the absolute master manipulator!!!! I heard Jesus knocking and I have finally after all these years said Yes I will seek you! I am not perfect in my walk yet as I am like a wobbly toddler lol...but he is holding me and teaching me he took the blindfold off my eyes and soooooo many things I thought were okay certainly are not and he's showing me! Thank you sister for expanding my knowledge HALLELUJAH!!! Our GOD IS SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY EARTHLY PLEASURE SEEK HIM AND WHEN YOU TRULY JUST FEEL HIM AND HIS LOVE YOUR HOOKED HE IS MY FULL BLOWN ADDICTION! Truly said. Even I had a first hand experience with Isha Yoga. I struggled a lot with the demonic spirits, though initially it felt enlightening gradually it started to take its troll on me. My Lord Jesus came to my rescue and today I am in the hands of Jesus. Praise the Lord!!!

I thought it may be something good to do with my wife as she is into it also. Do you think practicing purely as stretching exercises ignoring on the mental aspects it would be harmless or still dangerous? Thank you for you video too, it was interesting and useful to me.

+Purvigiggle Thank you Purvi for making and uploading that video which you linked. I watched the first hour of the video and am already convinced that even as an exercise programme it is not something I should even associate with as that would be encouraging this demonic practice.
Also after watching your testimony I went to look at Yoga in a bit more depth and noticed that a lot of the advanced practitioners when performing their rituals (although quite intriguiing to the eye at first glance) in essence look like beasts or insects writhing and bound to the ground, not the holy image that God would want for us.
Anyway thank you so much for your testimony and efforts in illuminating this subject for me and I am sure many others.

Personally, I don't have that experience to share with others. I tried yoga and didn't like it. At the time I didn't realize the spiritual component. I'm happy comments are not disabled here. just wanted to thank you for your testimony. I have many friends who are fans of "christian meditation" based on breathing etc...I tried to tell them how bad it is and unbiblical without success.I am sooo happy to find this video. As you are indian and not born christian this makes your testimony even more reliable. at least I have a strong proof to help me next time I try to warn people

Thank-you very much for your testimony. I also was into the occult (kundalini yoga). I thought I was enlightened as well. I have come to realize like you after being attacked by Satan and wicked spirits many times that yoga is witchcraft. It opens the door to evil spirits. It's taken me 20 years to return to Jesus, I am so glad I have come home. Jesus is real, he is alive. Thanks again!

I have heard this before, yoga meditation is basically spiritual channeling..channeling entities into yourself.

Thank you for your testimony! I have been researching this topic for quite awhile! I know many Christians who do yoga and think nothing of it. They actually advertise it and try to convince others like myself to join to release tension in their lives. I respond with spending time briskly walking in the park praying to our Lord Jesus Christ. Some Christian churches offer yoga as an activity. I always felt there was a discernment that something was not right about it. The new fitness trend now is "hot yoga" amongst Christians which I believe is dangerous as well.

A BIG HUGE thank you!! I had just started a form of exercise that wasn't fully yoga but had it incorporated in the program!! My body was feeling amazing until I hurt my shoulder doing a tricep push up!!! I started looking up the names of the poses as it wasn't sitting right with me!!! This morning I was doing some Pilates exercises and streching afterwards. After doing that I remembered that I have heard before that Christians are not allowed to do yoga. So I literally searched on CZcams "Are Christians allowed to do yoga?" 😂 . And then I found your video "Think you can be Christian and do yoga?" and it really opened my eyes. I won't do yoga anymore.. But wonder, can I do streching (like doing a bridge, splits or sidr streching)? Or is it still against God? What is your view on doing other exercises?
Hello there :) In the second part of the video I explain that stretching is great and there is nothing wrong with stretching and I encourage it because it is good for us!

+Sovereign ThomaS Yes uncontrollable movements happened to me too as I mentioned in the Isha Yoga document in detail. Calling on Jesus Christ is very important in a personal way talking to Him, confessing sin before Him, and repenting before Him as well as giving thanks. What we never want to do is chant His name in a ritualistic way with vain repetitions. The most important thing is being born again! I have replied to your fb message..message me there :)
just wanted to answer your question is not okay to chant the name of Jesus also because when you chance you are doing it repeatedly and in the book of Matthew Jesus said that it is not OK to pre in repetition and in many words thinking that you will be heard for your many words also God speaks to the children of Israel and telling them to stay away from chantings and such things as that all it takes is the call on the name of Jesus once in believe

I could see your love for the Lord when you spoke the name of Jesus!! Your eyes lit up. I was involved in New Age and eventually started to do yoga too. The spirits turned on me when I was born again in the name of Jesus. Its crazy how the enemy can deceive, he knows what we are searching for and he provides the counterfeit peace & happiness. I wasn't truly happy or peaceful during that time in my life. I have the peace of Jesus, I will never go back to where I was, in total darkness and alone

I have had similar experience, with involvement in yoga. I worked as yoga instructor and lived in an ashram in Australia. My experience in Sydney Ashram was terrible, i was bullied and talked into doing 'karma yoga' - all in the name of god... whilst, actually, it was all for individual's personal ambitions and had nothing to do with God.
Recently, i have found Jesus, and my life has turned around completely! Praise the Lord! Real miracles have happend to me since i accepted Jesus! Halleluya!

My daughter is very into yoga.She's getting entire family into it.I try to tell her - she won't listen! She still claims to be Christian - but says yoga helps her with stress.It HAS done her GOOD-HOWEVER - believe it's a lie.Just LISTEN to this woman.Read Timothy1:4

I have heard for some time that things like meditation, yoga, even hypnotism have their roots in those temporarily reigning spirits who are evil. Thanks for sharing this most important testimony. I hear you , sister.. I was involved in Reiki and was attuned to it- What always bothered me about it was how it usurped the rightful place that belongs to the Holy Spirit- Only He alone does true healing the correct way on ALL levels at the same time. Satans' healing is a counterfit that only may temporarily benefit the physical body while introducing demonic entities to that person because they gave satan a foothold.
I was also involved in crystals and after coming to Jesus, I had this dream where He spoke to me about that. I have this meteorite stone found in Russia (as advertised) that was claimed to have healing properties- and I always believed crystals could heal bad energy. Well in this dream, it was dark outside and there was all this chaos and trouble going on. I held the stone up to the window and tried to send out good energy from the stone to heal what was going on outside. All that would come out of the stone was this dark grey smoke. Then I heard Jesus's voice. He calmly told me in so many words, " stones have no healing power on their own- only I can do that."
I woke up resolved and confirmed that this was yet another deception from satan. Stones are beautiful creations from God -- but so many in these times use them OVER God when they are nothing but stones and only HE has the TRUE power. Satan wants us all to take our eyes off of God and onto these other things-- or mix them with our faith in God- which is just as bad if not worse.
In this present age, there is a lot of these innocent things-- that seem innocent, but are from Satan, who appears as an angel of Light to draw in many people who would otherwise not be won over against Jesus.
