  • Hello everyone, today on SA Today, we'll take you on a garden tour in this video, showing you many plants you can expect to see. The Durban Botanical Garden is the oldest botanical garden in South Africa (SA), and it's a great place to spend a day admiring all the different plant species.
We'll go by the Palm House, home to various palm trees worldwide. From there, we'll head to the Fern Garden, where you can see ferns from different continents. We'll also visit the Succulent Garden, the Orchid House, and the Bonsai Garden. In addition to its plant collections, the Durban Botanical Garden has several other attractions, including a lake, a waterfall, and a playground. There's also a restaurant and a gift shop on site.
Whether you're a plant lover or just looking for a peaceful place to relax, the Durban Botanical Garden is a great place to visit. We hope you enjoy the video!

Loved these gardens all the time I lived across the race course in Greyville, visited regularly. Now I live 5 minutes from the Auckland Botanic Gardens, but this one is my favourite ❤✊🏾👍🏾

Thanks for sharing the pretty garden with us. There was also a Japanese garden in the Durban area.

Beautyful! I was there in the 60's and was enchanted with the orchid house, at the time.😢😊

My friends tell me there are large wood photo frames setup in perfect "memory" spots. That is such a great idea instead of people trampling through where they shouldn't to capture a take-home shot😋😍
