  • I've been lucky to learn front load from the best, Tyron in New Orleans could make a front loader move like no one I'd ever seen, the paisas in LA bust ass harder than anyone, but it all started with 2 weeks in March 2016 in the cab with Mr. Smooth Matt Giusto at Heiberg. Here are a few clips I got with my phone around that time. Not very good picture quality but I think the content holds up. Matt operated all sorts of heavy construction equipment and the operating style def carried over to garbage. Taking care of the equipment and letting it do all the hard work, like in the first clip. Something in the vein of the LazyGarbo uploads from Australia.
Next we join the bossman at NE 99th Ave Max station, stabbing 6yds while trying not to get stabbed. I apologize for the music and the banana on the dashboard, that's all Jimmy 🏳‍🌈🍌😩🏳‍🌈
An interesting loading dock stop with swing driver Justin at the controls, I think I was right behind him in the WX/Mammoth for the cardboard. This place was some sort of warehouse turned hipster restaurant or something. You would go up some stairs to a side door, enter a room just large enough to hold the 2yd trash, 3yd cardboard bin, and a couple 65g organics carts, having to jockey everything around on a grease coated floor to get your bin lined up with the roll up door for service.
Last we rejoin Giusto for a stop at one of the many new apartments built to house Californians. Republic and WM had a scout truck to help with these sort of underground garages but Heiberg would have the customer buy a pallet jack as seen here.
