    I've enjoyed both of your series so much, and I'm reallt going to miss the regular videos, which have been informative and inspiring, and have opened my eyes to all the possibilities of lino. I'm really looking forward to the Japanese woodblock series. Many thanks for all the time and effort you have both put into this project over the last few months, which has made lockdown more bearable!

    Thank you so much Laura - I have learned so much from this series even if I discovered them a year after you filmed them ☺️

    Hi Laura, Mr. B, and the whole team (cats included), I can't tell you how much I've gotten out of these two linowithlaura series. Not only have I learned so much, but it was so lovely to have you be a part of my morning routine during self-isolation. I avidly watched every video with my breakfast and morning tea for the last few months. The livestreams have also been great! Tonight's stream is the first I won't be able to attend, as I'm back at work as of yesterday, but I look forward to watching it this weekend. Thank you for everything, and I can't wait to watch your Japanese woodblock series when that starts!

    Thank you Laura, this was such a wonderful series and I'm thrilled to be able to order a print from it! You've illuminated the different aspects of multi-block vs reduction (in series 1 & 2), showing the various advantages of each and I'm more adventurous in general in approaching them. I will unfortunately miss your live feed tonight, but shall tune in to it in the next few days. Very much looking forward to your Japanese woodcut series, as well!

    Thank you Laura, this series has inspired me to get back into print making after a 20+ year absence.

    Great series Laura and Ben, thank you. I will be watching this last episode again tomorrow and much as I'd like to drop into the live stream I don't think I'll make it. 5am here in Oz is a bit too early for me after a very busy day here today. Will probably add in another comment after watching this one again (when I'm not so bushed and the brain is functioning again (well, as best it does)!). Really looking forward to the woodblock printing series. Hope you both get a chance for a bit of a break before you get stuck into it.

    A novice question. If you work in a reduction method does this mean that you won't be able to reuse the lino block later for more impressions of the same design?

    • @LauraBoswellPrintmaker
      @LauraBoswellPrintmaker  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes that’s right - you are cutting away the lino as you go so the block is lost as part of the process.
