Not prophesizing. He is a good student of history and could easily predict this trend. I am not a prophet but I saw it coming. I used to be Republican. I saw the shift during Reagan. I left and do everything I can to the best of my ability to sound the warning and encourage and help folks vote. It isn't prophecy when you are the person inside instigating the movement. It just takes a generation of brainwashing people to turn from the Spirit of Christ to the spirit of the antichrist in order to control them. Now they are obedient servants against everything Christ represented.
I once got caught in a traffic jam heading toward a Trump rally. There was no way to turn my car around and I ended up being directed into the parking lot. While I drove around looking for an exit so I could get out of there, I could actually FEEL the aura of hatred. Frightening!

He could have "prophesied" that war with Europe would come later that year -- but it means nothing if he had the will, the intention and means to make it happen -- which he did. I would usually not be aggressive towards a political group but I am making an exception for the maga clowns😅. I call them out whenever I can and that is on a daily basis.
Yes. This is what I've watched all of my life. I remember my mother speaking to me about my soul, because I was studying to be a minister in a different tradition. She asked me, wasn't I concerned that I might be following Satan who would rise as the antichrist and I would be lost. I asked her, what if the antichrist was rising within the Christian Church? We discussed for awhile but her eyes went glassy and I realized that was a bridge too far for her mind to hold and we moved on. When Trump became President, my dad (very devout) said he was a clown. He passed shortly after and, following her friends, mom began to defend Trump saying that God chose him. It feels so set up. It is scary how it has permeated the world. At the same time, I know that God is Love and there is no place to go but Love. So I try to hold the high watch and practice that Christ Love. For all of my life practice, I sometimes wonder why I'm not very good at it sometimes.
Yes, and you would think christians would recognize the danger of following a hate filled man, with a group that spreads hate, so I guess that is what perplexes me here. Unless they were never really christians...

He might have known it, because the seeds were planted about 40 years ago. 40 years ago, my parents started noticing they were losing ground. They were having trouble making ends meet with only two older teens in the house than they had with four children in the house. 20 years ago, my kids were saying the world they were facing was not the world I grew up in. By then the deck was noticeably being stacked against our kids, and attacks on Social Security and Medicare were commonplace. It wasn't necessarily prophesy. All he had to do was follow the dots.
I grew up hearing some of this in my childhood; I used to wonder why there was so much support among congregations for infiltrating the Government and creating a Christian-based nation if they were afraid of Christian persecution since the history of American Christians was fleeing the Christian church aligned with the Crown. With over 200 Christian denominations in the US and everyone thinking they have the most correct version, it is a recipe for real Christian oppression to embrace fusing church and state.

Define spiritual. Is that feeling some way because we call that emotions in 2024. Thinking certain things? Cognition. And self awareness and self reflection is consciousness. So what exactly is spiritual?
@yabits Scripture shows us that in fighting the wrong battle we can forfeit the real one; thinking the battle was about Jesus' betrayal and physical safety on the night of His betrayal Peter drew his sword and cut off the ear of the high priest's servant. Jesus, in essence, told Peter to stop, that He had different mission to fulfil. At present the battle is likewise a spiritual one, but it is difficult to recognize by those who are grounded only in "flesh and blood" realities. Ephesians 6:12 gives you details.
@jenna2431 We are a Spirit clothed in flesh. Our Spirit connects with it's Creator and the life of the Spirit grows (receives enlightenment) throughout our lifetime if we are open to it, as we are always free to accept or not. This is known as our spiritual journey. This is a deep subject that takes a lifetime of mining it's layers. Of course this is my perspective, others may have different views.

I’m constantly faced with financial hardships but my faith in you Lord Jesus is strong. Even as I struggle to pay rent every month and I struggle to buy groceries for my children, and as I struggle to do it all. I KEEP FAITH in you LORD. I know a blessing is on the way. I have no idea who Lance is, but what I believe has happened, maybe for far too long (maybe centuries) is a lack of teaching the principles of "discerning of spirit".
I watched The Apprentice and remembered, as 45 (I refuse to name him) came down that escalator, how I had said to myself when I finally grew tired of this haughty guy saying "You're Fired!" how I said to myself back then, 'man, it will not be good for us if that guy ever makes it into politics'. I can safely say... my discernment was accurate.
Another example of this ability of discernment was when I started dating my wife. I had, many years earlier, pretty much halted my church attendance because every church I attended gave me an odd gut check. But my then girlfriend, now wife, was going to a Mars Hill church here in Seattle. So I agreed to attend with her. At first, I really liked it. I'm a musician, played in the worship service and in the secondary band we formed called "Deaths Enemy." But anyway, Mars Hill had great worship music and great musicians. I thought, 'hey, this ain't bad'. Then a pastor came and did a little 10 minute talk before the main pastor "Mark" came onto the big screen. I was like, "what's this." Apparently he was somewhere else and they were broadcasting his message to, like, 10 locations of Mars Hill. Hey, I'm into technology too, so, cool, I can dig that.
It didn't take long for that gut check to show up again. After about 12 months attending, and moving to a different location closer to where my now wife lived, I knew something was wrong. I started seeing how much power this Pastor Mark, who I had never seen before in person, had over his flock. And it really started to distract me. Something was wrong there, but I couldn't figure it out. So I decided to look online and see what, if anything, was being said "out there" and it was only then I found the dirty secrets I had sensed for months. Not gonna share all that here, anybody can look it up. Suffice it to say, Mars Hill folded in brilliant fashion not long after. Was it because of me being there, I doubt it. I saw it coming through.
Anyway, "My people fail for lack of vision" is one of my favorite verses. It isn't about getting things done. Scripture isn't a how-to book. It's teaching principles to live and fight the good fight of faith - and to recognize what your enemy is doing (which is the devil between your ears more often than not - because the devil, unlike God, isn't omnipresent). This enemy is trying to hold you to the earth (Christian Nationalism, for instance) and not allowing you to look towards heaven, where your redemption actually is. Knowing how to do this, Discernment of Spirits, is the only way I know of to live. It helps me daily to know who I should grow close to, and who to avoid like the plague.
Well said! The Mars Hill story-😢 yeah. Poor people. I absolutely believe in every spiritual gift, and I think the one most desperately needed right now is discernment.

Lance brought this stuff in. So, not prophecy, but, letting us know what they were up to. I am sure that some of you will recognize some of the names Lance is associated with. Out of curiosity, since Pompeo's name is in there, is anyone keeping up with the Julian Assange case. It's looking like the UK may not extradite Julian to America, because it could end Julian's life.
So yeah, I am glad to see someone else bringing this "Dr." Wallnau character up.
I think that this prophecy might be somewhat self fulfilling, like what some right wing conspiracy kooks call "predictive programming". Perhaps in this case, they may have actually been right.

It must be a terrible thing to realize that one has become the devil's tool while having full cognizance of this but not having the thought or awareness to recognize that he himself was the one and was doing so (arrogance).
I grew up hearing the expression, "To be forewarned is to be forearmed." This guy was able to see what was coming, yet he was still swept up in it. Wow!
When democracies have fallen to fascism, they were vulnerable because:
- they’d lost a big war
- they had economic collapse
- they didn’t know where it would lead
(USA has none of these excuses)
those items are not the ONLY way for people to feel "vulnerable." Not by a long shot.
At the end of World War 2. We had the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe and McArthur rebuild Japan so they could be a democracy...The problem in America now could be ideology power control, Religious fanatics.. People are in a daze or maybe they want to go back to the mid or dark ages it's insane..
As a european historian, I don't completely agree with your point. Your first sentence is completely correct. Societies must be vulnerable to fall to fascism. I would argue, though, that the US has the equivalents to the three reasons you give.
Lost a big war: true the US hasn't lost a big war, but the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan is not really encouraging. The US is losing power relative to other players like China, it's not the big boss anymore. Still the strongest but not the undisputed leader it was before.
Economic collapse: remember covid?
Don't know where it will lead: at the moment nobody knows, Israel, Ukraine, return of eradicated diseases, the climate, the political tribalism. Uncertainty is the only certain thing.
I'd say it's understandable people worry. Their choice of solution is not really helpful but that is a different story.
And one last thing: the Netherlands had a fascistic movement with members in parliament and they were neutral during that big war you mentioned.

Wallnau's basic analysis is pretty well accepted, I think. As FDR said, "People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made." When the political system fails the people, the people look elsewhere for leadership. Names like Gracchus, Mussolini, and Lenin echo in history to show how this analysis is pretty solid.
The issue can arise both because the nation's resources are dwindling, and there is simply less to go around. But it can also happen that it is the /distribution/ of rights and wealth that shifts. As in the US, where productivity has risen steadily since ww2, but wages stopped growing faster than inflation in the 70s. So where will Americans look as the screws tighten? To a Green New Deal that harkens back to FDR? Or to MAGA, which looks a lot more like what came into power in Spain, Italy, and Germany in the interwar years?
Or something third? Opioids, perhaps? Community networks? Despair and collapse?

This is all echoes of what was going on in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. When you read about the goals of the Nazis and what they were proposing (see the "25 Points of the Nazi Party" that they wrote), you can see the echoes of it in what Trump was saying. (It's why I became a "never Trumper" back in 2015! He was talking about those points at that time. And he's only gotten worse since then!)
But both have arisen from seeing that the masses are hurting economically. And sometimes, because they are hurting, they don't see how they are being manipulated by autocratic-minded people. And we also see how they do it.
James Waterman Wise (often misattributed to Sinclair Lewis) said something about what we are seeing: “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.” The juxtaposition of religion and economic hardship is driving this.
I find the beauty of the teachings of Jesus to be His pointed commands to deal with our personal sins and the inner self more than trying to control the world, at least that is what I thought He was saying. It's easy to forget about self-examination when pointing out the evil in another. Self control is more important for a follower of Christ than controlling the nation or world, IMHO, and the true battle is with our own flesh, once again in my humblest opinion. May God help us all.

I am old 😊 and I remember the 7 mountain mandate. I had books by some of those leaders. And I would never have believed what has happened and how it is being used today. It hurts my heart. And it scares me very much. I wonder if it is too late and what’s coming is coming. I do believe it is demonic.

I dont think we say thank you enough to people like you that ttake time to help us through this crazy thing we call life in such a respectful, honest and honestly "human" way. On the History Channel years ago they ran a series called "The Nostradomas Effect" (sorry if spelling is wrong). I had forgotten all about it until I watched day after day, month after month, year after year, all these people follow and support someone that seems so obviously...I don't want to say it...but evil. Suddenly one day the series popped into my head because something Trump said or did that day clicked into my brain about how a person that is described in so many ways in the series matches perfectly with what I was seeing. Now weeks later it's just gotten more scary because as i watch more episodes other things are matching, down to the things happening with the Palestinians! I found you a couple months ago and I am so happy I did. You speak how I feel on everything. I am a classical evangelical Christian and I have been so so disheartened by the movement here in America. So many of my friends and family have fallen for MAGA and actually make me feel like I am wrong. I literally hurt because I think that God's heart is broken. Seems to me that if you keep your eyes on Satan and his works a little too long, you can end up getting sucked in and then drown.

The answer (in the words of the old hymn) is to “…turn your eyes upon Jesus/look full in his wonderful face …”
Perhaps Lance is a cautionary tale: i.e., don’t get obsessed with watching evil unfold; stay focused on what the almighty Lord is doing instead. Or as Psalm 16:8 has it, “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”

Just a thought. Lance made an observation of an event that was already happening which expanded over time. From my understanding, a profit has recieved a message from God or God’s messengers before the event happens. After receiving the message the profit delivers it to people before the event begins.
Now, religious leaders like Lance Wallnau are creating the world that he used to preach was wrong. I work with someone who claims to love Jesus, yet asked me, "why are you so nice?" I responded by telling that person that I believe in treating others like I would want to be treated. That person traveled out of the United States recently and wondered why people in that country "hate Americans". The person is an avid Trump supporter, and we had a previous conversation where the person stated that "people are saying Trump didn't pay taxes while he was president". When I responded "well yes, it was one year he paid no taxes" , the person left the conversation. That same person behaves in very self-absorbed ways. This type of behavior gives Christianity a bad name. I believe that the actual teachings of Jesus Christ are a good way to lead life decisions. I am an atheist, and I follow your youtube channel because you give me hope that American Christians will some day see the light.
I had a long comment that I wanted to say about this because what you're saying so important but for some reason CZcams didn't like what I had to say and deleted my comment continually, even after I edited it so much so just suffice it to say, you're right and it's scary how many have fallen for MAGA even after they predicted something like this would happen.

From Revelations ch 7 (The Wore of Babylon):

Wow! He is living in the middle of his warning and embracing it willingly. I have friends who follow Lance Wallnau and have become completely different people (who no longer speak to me because I don’t think Trump is a Messianic person).

This is a spiritual battle as well as a moral one. Fear and persuading people that the government is persecuting them. It seems to be a little like the Israeli demanded a king and not judge. What did they get. Men who the power of being one to hold power all at some time fell and failed to stay on God's road map. Some like David repented but still had to go through heart aches and feuds in his family and among the people. Total power usually corrupts humans. Maybe because we all at times want someone else to fix our problems, protect us, and provide the security and safety . Many good people are willing to excuse everything about trump that they KNOW is not right. I have never believed that God purposely harden peoples harts so they will not acknowlege the wrongness of what they believe bit maybe I am wrong. It would be easy to just blame God.
For MAGA who believes Trump was chosen by God - if he was chosen, he wasn’t chosen by God! You have to look down for the answer, not up.
I figured tfg was sent to wake "christians" up. To say, hey you are moving so far away from the lessons I (Jesus) taught to justify your need to judge and other so I am going to send you a big test for you to decide which path you are truly on. The path of love and lifting people up or the path of hate, self-righteousness and condemning judgement. You cannot choose both and you need to decide if your one idol that you cling to is worth the path you are choosing, to be my servant or to replace me as the judge of the land. And just a little reminder, I will judge you by the way you judge others. I told you straight out, not your job.
A half century ago as a seminary student I had a professor who maintained that there were Hebrew Scripture prophets who spoke not knowing the ultimate meanings of things they prophesied. Maybe you have found evidence of the same phenomenon in our day.

I find Wallnau to be a very compelling speaker. He has a vision and he knows where he wants to take his audience. (The emotion I feel when watching him is mainly disgust.) I believe he gave the talk in the linked video during W. Bush's time in office -- after 9/11 and before the financial meltdown of 2007-2008. Same-sex marriage was not yet legalized.
Nevertheless, his vision is clear with regards to the seven mountains. He would agree that Christians are not yet in control of them -- but the elites who are in control are corrupt, and that's what is killing democracy. He seems to be implying that unless Christians take control, satanic forces would dominate with their form of authoritarian rule.
I'm sure he sees a Christian movement that dominates the seven mountains as a wonderful outcome -- no matter how authoritarian -- and MAGA for him is therefore Christ-based.
A couple of additional thoughts: Wallnau's main thrust behind the control of the seven mountains is that domination of them will mean a bigger harvest of souls. That's his theory and proposition. I am more dedicated to helping build "the beloved community" -- which a concept that seems foreign to Wallnau and other Christian nationalists.
Nationalism, after all, is a form of idolatry.

Wow. I hear you and I see & get what you’re saying, it’s crazy. He was prophesying exactly what is happening now and he has allowed himself to be led down a dark path, the wrong path. I can’t even say what I’m thinking, it’s way too dark.
