I have always admired the Art of Bonsai after I traveled to Japan and saw a showing of bonsai trees at a tree festival. Just amazing how long some of those trees have been alive. Some over 100 years old with family members keeping them alive and thriving. I have a few mini crepe myrtles that I have potted and had for 16 years in the same pot and I'm afraid of putting them in a smaller pot for fear of hurting the tree. Have you any experience in crepe myrtles? Thanks and wonderful video and such a beautiful result! Fabulous!

I'm trying to learn about bonsais because I just bought myself a 4-year-old juniper bonsai. I'd like to know how to take care of it and I've been trying to watch different videos but they've all been so hard to pay attention to because everyone that I watched is so monotony and hard to pay attention too but I wanted you to know that I'm really excited to have found your channel because you're not monotony and much easier to follow. I'm excited to see your other videos. Hopefully one of them will be good at explaining how to take care of a baby bonsai. Anyways thanks for being awesome!!

I actually had to snip some of the leaves off because of mildew and now it's looks so naked, so hopefully it will look just as good as the bonsai in this video. I have a question though about repotting: Can I repot my bonsai so it will grow bigger now, or is it best to wait till the appropriate season?

If you are starting with a tree you bought from a nursery (like what you had in your wiring a branch video) do you need to only focus on one activity at a time or can you do it all at once? I was curious if pruning, wiring, and shaping the tree then repotting it into a bonsai pot at the same time would shock the tree too much and more easily lead to it dying.
