@@NewYorkBall559yeah. I understand why most players wouldn’t have high hopes, after the MASSIVE disappointment of the last event. But I would still stay somewhat positive. By the looks of it, they are reeling back on the ambition and going for something nice and simple. And doing other things like reworking freezer and possibly frost blaster. So there’s a chance for this event to be good, or at least fun to play!

@@Patchfaceepretty sure it’s a sequel to the first ever Christmas event, as the first ever Christmas event’s boss was Krampus. Not sure if this is the same krampus, but if not, this krampus probably has some correlation with the old one.
@@boip8313yeah. I mean, we’re getting a freezer rework, and most likely a frost blaster rework. And new skins, a battle pass, emotes, maps, bug-fixes, and a new event tower. So I guess I can let the re-use of enemies slide. I just hope the event is fun and the story actually makes sense, don’t want another Lunar Overture.

I'm personally OK with defend the center and I like it. The problem is that they use during almost EVERY event, and it gets repetitive. And speaking that we might be getting a game mode that is a defend the center, I hope this event will be like pizza party, badlands, or even the frost spirit event.

1. No more night system but instead a map system where it changes map overtime.

Considering all the towers that was used on the event, im believed that it is needed for the event, except for the ice related units, towers like ace and minigunner are used, so it would be needed for the event aswell, this kinda happens on *some* trailers, hope this is true cuz minigunner and ace is cool

Judging by the updates on discord, as well as the overwhelming backlash the devs received from the last event, this probably won’t be another “Defend the Center” event.
From the looks of it so far, all the maps look multi pathed like Outpost 32 or Totality Tower
Good. Defend the Center is a trash game mode and the king of artificial difficulty. I don't care if a regular map has a never-ending Zerg rush so long as I can anticipate where the enemies are coming from.
Act 3 is hands-down the worst event match I've played since starting during the pandemic

The developers had to lock in for this one..... Raz leaving *(might)* have been the wake up call
Lunar overtune wasnt actually that bad. If we wont focus on the story (the main thing of this event) the event is great. We got some really cool mechanics, bosses and skins (the skins r 🔥).Devs probably had a really hard time doing the event, even though it feels rushed they probably put A TON of efort into making this great event.
ik if dedvs try giving skins maps rebalances so they forget their content updadte skills and ruin act 3 and rest of solo
