Man such a missed opportunity x2 with kisho ninja. First one was sending a run order via dragging instead of walking to stalk, the second was not putting them on the walls to toss bombs into that giant mob
One of the best battles yet!
I think the one where he was ikko and was facing hojo stacks was probably best, this was good too but here he had really good army with tercios and nice yari cav so it was winnable
if I remember correctly, you can dismount artillery which the AI then treats as no artillery on the field
Interesting, and on that matter, limbering your artillery up in FotS has the same effect.
Reminds me of the time i struggled with a defensive siege
It was a landing army and I didnt expect anything to attack there, since i was also building a small force with some cav and ashigaru, but the hatakoyoma with just their annoying yari samurai and bow samurai were a pain to beat that i was loosing constantly till i found a sweet spot where i got to position my troops and kill of their archers early, and got off a yari wall almost at the right time, just utalizing everything.
Just won in the end, forgot to record it since it was sorta of a practice battle. Either way, was happy i got to take tokyo and ended it off there.
You know in a big battle to make things easier. You can disable control large army. Once the first enemy's army is wiped out the second army would rush towards your fortress or position in unorganized formation. And the cavalry will automatically dismount. It's good because you can focused the rest of your army on one side of the wall and your enemy would be tired once they get into your fort.
Wow that's so amazing to watch
13 months later and we're still playing Otomo stuck in a fort
@@dishonorable_daimyo1498 yea the gun shots are just satisfying to hear while seeing the enemy shatter
Playing otomo and having units other than tercos and dunderbuss cav defending in a siege? Heresy!
🎉🎉
I hope you have installed a mod that makes european cannons more accurate because otherwise they just almost never hit anything.
Nah, generally against using balance mods, I want people to know this is stuff they can replicate in their own games as is.
Also as inaccurate as they are they do force the AI to be more aggressive, quite useful in field battles.
Cringe lord gaze upon a cring army composition that is too unusual and weird that goes beyond majority of player's imagination.
