Really cool to see both of them side-by-side, the only one I have is the Auto World. I think both manufacturers did a fantastic job, just a little differences between the two. Both of them get a two thumbs from me brother.
I just saw your video! It's like the old saying "Great minds think alike!" They're both so good! I was really shocked to see the rear windshield wiper on the AW, so well done. The Mini GT is so cool! It comes down to price and availability.
Great video, I actually changed my mind after seeing your video. I was going to pre-order the Autoworld Supra and the Mini GT TRD Supra, but I went for both Mini GT, both in Renaissance Red. AutoWorld doesn't sell on the pegs here in Canada, so the price difference between the 2 brands is not as drastic.
Thanks! I often buy these models to compare how each brand does. They're both good, but if they're the same price then Mini GT wins as you say. But luckily Auto World is on the pegs at Walmart here in New York, so if you find them in store Auto World are the bargain. I especially like that these are stock street models!
I have the Mini GT Toyota Supra in White...I think that was one of the first colors available but I would like to find the Auto World version on the pegs at Hobby Lobby , Walmart, or Target...I think the car looks better with the rear wing but that is my opinion...I love to get the mid to late 80’s Supra...or even some of the Celicas from the early to late 90’s...great content as usual ...thanks for sharing!
could be worst, you want panel gaps, check the TLV Toyota Altezza. I collect Mini GT as well but don't like the over the top defrost lines in the rear glass.
@@monsieurdiecasts3393 Yes, MiniGT has the worst defroster lines; they sometimes block half the window. It's just a wasted effort when you can't even see them on a real car unless you're right next to it.
Nice comparison the auto world seems tor really hold its own at half the price. Will be cool to see the auto world with the wing whenever it comes out.
Thanks Bog! Yeah, they're both so good! If price was a big factor, then finding the Auto World on the pegs in store make it the better value. I'm sure buying the AW online would negate that factor.
We have similar tastes, I also have the red E30 M3 and black 190E Evo 2 from Mini GT. I'm a big fan of Toyota from 1:64 to 1:1 (incl. 2 in my driveway), I have quite a few FJ40 Land Cruisers from Johnny Lightning (but not nearly as many as Dan) and also pre-ordered the 2 upcoming variations of the FJ60 from Inno64. I like my diecasts stock as well, with a few exceptions for historically significant racing liveries (e.g. the upcoming Mini GT Ford GT LMGTE Pro (LeMans) ).
Then you will love TWYCE diecast also. Yeah, I collect what I like. Sort of like building a "dream garage" in diecast. I'm not diecast brand loyal. And like you I prefer "stock" street cars. I appreciate all car brands, but at heart I'm a Ford guy. But all Fords ;) I'm waiting for a special Inno64 Ford that I ordered months ago. Thanks for watching! Check my older videos to get a feel for what I collect. I think there's something for everyone!
i dont know man, check the shape of the back of a supra in real life, the mini gt looks weird, just like some hot wheels, and the auto world shape in general looks pretty close to a real supra, auto world all the way!
Chris I don't really remember if the U.S. versions got the rear wiper. They were so rare when they were new and even more so now. The Mini GT is twice of the retail price of Auto World, so if that could be found in store it would be a better value. But in the end the red Mini GT is just a little nicer ;)
Uh-oh... it's that Joe guy again, lol. Out of the two? I like the TSM best because of the details and color, but I'd get theAuto World for the price and the opening hood. I'd just strip the Auto World and paint it red, lol 😺👍
I agree, it’s is close. At this point it really is just purchasing for brand name only (Mini GT) as much as I like them , you bring up very valid points on the AW.
Really cool to see both of them side-by-side, the only one I have is the Auto World. I think both manufacturers did a fantastic job, just a little differences between the two. Both of them get a two thumbs from me brother.
Thanks David! They're both so nice, but for the price, it's Auto World that takes the win.
LOL I just did a comparison on these too. I didn't manage to open the hood though, glad I could see what's underneath in your video 😉
I just saw your video! It's like the old saying "Great minds think alike!" They're both so good! I was really shocked to see the rear windshield wiper on the AW, so well done. The Mini GT is so cool! It comes down to price and availability.
I have all of the Auto World Supras including the one with the Euro hood scoop. as well. Mitsubishi 3000GT & Starion and a Dodge Caravan.
Auto World does cool stuff! Thanks for watching.

Thanks Damien! I got these off Amazon, I wish I found the AW at Walmart. Have a great weekend!
Very cool Joe
Thanks Gary!
Both cars are beautiful, buddy 😊👍
Thanks Dimi! They're both so good, it's tough to pick a favorite. But the Auto World is a lower price here in the U.S.
Very Nice my friend
Thank you very much
I'd have to go with the MiniGT; you know I hate those panel gaps. Great comparo!
Thanks! I was debating picking up the Supra you stripped the graphics off too. Maybe down the road.

Yes, I was surprised how well Auto World compared to Mini GT. They're both so nice, but when price/value is factored in it's Auto World for the win!
great job done by AW...both great models...tarmac did some nice supras also
Agree! They're both so nice and AW is definitely the "bargain" choice!
Dan in the house!
Nice comparison Joe. I think I’d be happy with either or. But for my money I’d go with the Mini GT. 👍👍👍👍

👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
Thanks Rudi!

i got silver too cause im not particularly crazy abt white either
i dont know man, check the shape of the back of a supra in real life, the mini gt looks weird, just like some hot wheels, and the auto world shape in general looks pretty close to a real supra, auto world all the way!
Mini GT for me all the way. Some markets didn't get the rear wiper. In Aust we didn't get a rear wiper.

Auto World for the Win
Absolutely! When you factor in price/value, Auto World wins hands down!

Tiz I agree, they're both so good!
@@xltoffroadbear And! They're gluten-free! lol
i bought the AW supra and the hood want open. sad
Party
Thanks Bandido!
Love AW but you know it’s a Mini GT
It's so close! AW did a great job, Mini GT is awesome. But going strictly on price/value AW for the win! That's how close they are.
I agree, it’s is close. At this point it really is just purchasing for brand name only (Mini GT) as much as I like them , you bring up very valid points on the AW.
Sorry sir, but mini gt's tail light is plastic insert i guest
I'll have to check again, but it looked printed. Maybe the printing is under a plastic insert? Thanks for watching.
@@xltoffroadbear fr what i see, its looks like that, anyway your video is🔥as always
