William handled this interview the best way possible. Serious yet still asking about Eurovision in a very subtle way. He's not ignoring the big elephant in the room of course but he isn't taking advantage of the dramatic situation for views. Well done William, journalists like you are hard to find these days

This is why Wiwi is the most respected out of all the fansites - they can change their approach as necessary depending on who they're talking to, and William is smart enough to treat Kalush Orchestra very seriously, seeing as their ability to appear at events like these, let alone Eurovision, carries a lot more weight than just another act. I remember seeing clips of Fazla doing press at Eurovision 1993 and I don't know how seriously people were discussing the war in Bosnia with them when that was a focal point of their whole song, so I'm glad William knows that asking questions about a sensitive subject isn't overstepping or bringing the mood down. It's necessary, and it'd probably be really insulting to just do another cheerful interview and completely ignore the situation in Ukraine.

Просити допомогу, коли тебе вбивають, гвалтують і плюндрують твої землі - це "попрошайничать"? Це нормально просити про підтримку у важкі часи. Чи ви хочете нас вбивати, а ми маємо мовчати?

Sorry but I cant get over the fact Alina was disqualified, and this guys hated the selection then to accept the invitation to go to Eurovision. Alina would be well deserved winner of Eurovison and this song now is just overrated!

By touring around Europe they are keeping alive Ukraine as a country and the identity of their people/citizens. In case you don`t know there are many fronts to be fought in a war not only military but cultural and on other levels. It`s astounding how some individuals like you are so narrow-minded or maybe....you just a Putin crab coming on chat under "Metalec" pretending to care about ukrainian people and soldiers just to make way to take a dig and provoke unrest by instilling opinion division with your tw*t views and comments.
