Friendly remind lathrix : you can do internal jet, and with thubes, make the exhaust/intake be where you want : you can do some intake pointing upward in the middle , and make a huge ass engine inside the ship, and make the exhaust be outside near the back of the ship for maximum length !

If there was ever a theme that all your creations follow it is stability. Almost never have I seen you sacrifice stability for anything else and when you do you always remark that you are needing to make it more stable. If there was one true challenge that someone could give you it would be to make a craft to embrace the chaos and have stability be a distant afterthought.

I just love watching what you build in FTD
recently picked up ftd and am pretty proud of one of my creations, its a sort of reverse skimmer instead of being mostly above water its mostly below water with literally just a smallish adv cannon and a range finder above the water, combine with decent speed and the dwg really struggle to hit this thing. actually made an AA version of it since sonar doesnt work above water its even harder for aircrafts to hit it. although i did find out due to me focusing the amour at the top torps are really effective against it, actually what gave it its first death

I know the usual esthetic for this channel is 40k Chaos, but for this particular build, might I suggest the Fleet of Fog from Arpeggio of Blue Steel? Their whole thing is pretending to be World War 2 era ships, while actually having loads of alien tech stuffed inside. In particular, one of their big weapons is a Super Gravity Cannon, a form of spinal mounted wave-motion cannon. They also have a tendency to attack, and utterly devastate, humanity's navies with no explanation.
I know you wanna do a different chaos god but the ship screams "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" and "GUT THEM ALL" that you just cant deny it

The weather is depending on your location on the map,as you're adventure map is still on the Nether planet. You could add the "m map" and then go to the Deep Water Guard territory for calm waters (go to Documents-From The Depths-Player Profiles-[your name here]-AdventureMode-[some numbers]-[the slot your playing on] open the state file search for AccessToMap and change it from 1 to 0)
...Also make it an ork craft, red and yellow to go fast :D

An idea- the biggest calibre, the max shell lenght, maximum shell mass and the cannon has to be at least the lenght of the vessel, explosives galore.

Hey Lathrix I've come up with some cool lore for the paladin "After a great cataclysmic flood that covered the whole earth in water many people built ships and planes to survive but now war from opposing sides fight each other from sea and air. A lone survivor Finds and rebuilds an old ship called the paladin back to its former glory. But while sailing the majestic ship a strange flying craft was heading straight towards the ship. Not know what to do the survivor fires at it. The ship dodges the shells easily and while getting closer its front slowly transforms into a ram. Then the craft hits the side of the paladin wedging its self in it. Luckily the paladin held together and stayed afloat though the strange ship immobilized itself in the process. The survivor was about to board it and kill the captain of it. When it started to turn itself into tiny nano robots that combined with the paladin creating a entirely new ship. It now has boosters and is a water skimmer. It also upgraded its cannons and added not only rotating saws on the front but also a giant particle cannon. Turns out the flying craft was a robot from another planet and was now helping the survivor to help him and it to survive. Now they sail together taking on many different opponents. " I hope you like the lore I made i hope it gets in your video.

This is like the ship version of the knife fight in Saving Private Ryan.
People keep referencing the Yamato, and I obviously see why, but with lathrix's stylisation I think it will end up looking more like an arpeggio of blue steel ship.
Axial mounted partial cannon, liberal use of black and very very dark grey, armour reinforcing shields, jagged edges, willingness to destroy anything he encounters, and an AI controlled ship.
Personally I propose the name of the ship to be the CARNIVAL.

Not unleash them upon the poor souls in the Neter campaign to spread the good word of Khorne
Honestly I don't want to crib the designs, there is plenty of stuff on the workshop I could pinch if I just wanted to prefab my way through the campaign.
But Lathrix is prone to saying things like "I was going to make a Laser system but I got distracted and made this. It uses two paperclips, a spinblock and a potato to fire miniature deathstars at .75c. It does kill planets, but I'm not very good at this game so it costs 123 mats, so it's not cost efficient."
And I just want to see HOW!
