Wheels look mint mate
I’m in a few FB M140i groups and the insurance this year is going crazy and forcing owners to sell. This doesn’t seem to affect the 240i. I’ve got the Z4 M40i which is cheap to insure.
Everything has gone up lots this year. Mines gone from 560 to 680 which is pretty much inline for inflation right now. I'm hoping that the insurance issue is going to settle... I wonder if they are clamping down on those with less NCB or younger drivers given that being RWD and high bhp it is quiet a risky car... Still heaps cheaper then the Golf R to insure due to the theft risk I believe.
Too many chavs buying them and binning them. Too much power through the rear wheels accessible for inexperienced drivers

You can pick them up for 17 grand now, with high mileage.
Absolute bargain, mega engine, mega gearbox, unfortunately a 118i chassis.
I had exactly the same for 4 years, Wagner 200 cell cat, 455bhp/634nm, and many other mods.
Now have an OG M2, and it's slower, but on another (higher) level in every other way.
The M140i even modded, always felt numb, no steering feel, wiggly back end, pogo-ing dampers, etc..
insurance tho...

I always use gocompare to get the cheapest quote, so all of the others were more expensive.
I think the first year I insured it, the car was standard, 2.5 years old, 14,700 miles, and it was £380, which I thought was cheap, still do, it was a £24k car low mileage, with 335bhp.
I'm really not sure you understand car insurance my friend, no disrespect.
If I lived in an area like you described, it would have been MUCH higher trust me.
I never claimed on my insurance from passing my test aged 17, until last November (aged 54), when unfortunately I hit a patch of diesel coming off a roundabout on a dual carriageway, and wrote the M140i off. I got £19,700 from the insurance, so very happy with that, and it allowed me to put a decent chunk towards the OG M2.

Thanks for the correction on the tyres, exhaust tips do the same job so no biggie and the steering wheel is quite good. The light up ones tend to be premium

This review is very generic. Would've appreciated a greater amount of technical information i.e. under the hood mods, correct BHP, I mean you weren't even able to provide info on the alloys. I appreciate videos are very difficult to make/ edit and appreciate how clean the video is however I believe having that technical information to hand will help your channel grow much faster.
