3 years with my BMW M140 Shadow Edition comes to an end!

All good things must come to an end, and in this video I say goodbye to my much loved BMW M140 Shadow Edition. I’ve had this car for almost 3 years, and enjoyed every day of ownership - as I mention in the walk around, I love how unsuspecting this car is, and to the untrained eye it looks like just a normal(ish) BMW 1 series. Yet, this thing has a turbocharged 3.0 litre straight six capable of 0-62 in 4.6 seconds. It pushes 340 bhp (340ps) with 500 nm torque. It’s a real sleeper, and and totally capable of putting many performance cars to shame. It’s a real pocket car pocket positioning itself directly against the likes of Audi S3 and Volkswagen Golf R owners.

Nice!! Insurance is crazy high at the moment, particularly for the M140 - hopefully it’ll come down by the time you hit 20.

There's only certain cars that have personality and this one has it in spades. I do exactly what you used to do look back at it . From the rear it looks absolutely mint these are special cars. They won't make cars like this anymore so therefore one day it will be a collectors item. But for me I would never sell mine. So i hope you enjoy your new car has much as u did the m140i even though you didn't drive it so much😂.

You’re totally right, these are already future classics - and I was genuinely sad to part with it earlier this week. As great as the new car is, this was a very special car and I will always have fond memories of my ownership of it. Fingers crossed it goes to a good home.
