Shot on the Missouri River with Todd Day Wait, surrounded by the heat, beer and the Big Muddy.
This was a lucky video to grab. Our crew had to race back to the Rocky Mountains to get back to our normal lives, and we heard a rumor that Todd Day Wait was hiding near the Missouri River. We convinced ourselves that we'd be crazy not to go snag one with him.

I used to play at Coopers Landing and party with some cool folks. Neat to see it in the background and that the houseboat still sits there. That river flows towards the camera pretty fast.

Interestingly enough, the river scenes from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer were filmed very close to there in Lupus, MO.

About the Tom Sawyer comment exchange I am happy to inform you guys, that in the "lost chapter of Huck Finn" which was previously considered fake, but which is now by literary-buffs agreed as real - Tom and Huck actually goes on a trip along the Missouri because of the rumour of this brilliant troubadour who plays his guitar and sing his songs on the banks.
And that's not all, when I was talking to Mike and Brian one day - at the funeral of rhinestone-country, I learned that on the original recordings of this video, a couple of boys were actually floating by on a raft. But of course when they were editing, they were so focused on exposing the great art of Mr. Todd, that it slipped trough.
Sad yes, especially because the darkhaired boy was barefeet smoking a pipe.
