@@hayloft3834 I was in 1st gear and doing only about 10 to 15 km/h at most. The idiot on side-walk said something about hooning and I should watch where I am f'n going. I guess he is probably one of those people with the mind set who thinks because you are driving a performance car you are automatically a hoon and must be at fault no matter what. So I told him to mind his own business and don't get involved in matters that don't concern him. And reminded him that's how people end up with their teeth kicked in especially when they don't have a clue what had happened.

I think that I see the problem, there are so many millions of people that the planet is turning into a maze of asphalt, concrete, lanes of traffic with signs even in the road itself. If that’s not it then I didn’t see anything.
Sometimes in tight parking lots like this I'll let others turn even if I have the right of way, its just common sense, its hard to tell from this video how tight it was.
Hi Craig, this car park is very open actually. Because my dash cam is a wide lens some times it makes some areas look closer than they are. But I know what you mean about sometimes letting people go even if they are supposed to give way as I often do this myself. Especially if they are already there first and waiting for other traffic.

The reason I stopped was because I had seen the other driver not look in my direction at any stage and was in fact looking to his right and had no intention of stopping at the stop sign. Had I of continued it's almost certain he would have run into me. I'm not going to get into the technicalities of a private or public car park. Regardless if it's a private car park or not you still have to obey the road rules for example had he run into me the insurance companies would be claiming he was at fault. 😃👍

People do this at give way junctions on the highway regularly. Quite often the driver with priority (you in this case) slows down or flashes to allow it. If they don’t and you do it anyway, it’s taking a liberty at worst. You’re making a fuss over nothing really. CZcams is full of videos showing truly dangerous driving. Take a look. A car park is private property, whether it’s a car park open to the public or not. It’s not part of the public highway.

It's just an experienced driver who has momentum and realises you need to slow down to turn in, so takes the opportunity to get out of your way. It's just a normal part of driving, once you've been on the road for a few years you'll understand. It's really not a big deal at all. And no he was not making it easier for me to turn in because he didn't even know that I was there. I stopped because I could see he hadn't even looked in my direction whatsoever. Therefore I prevented an accident because had I of continued he most certainly would have run into me. So it is pretty obvious who should not be on the road!!! 😃
