- In this vlog I head to Billing Aquadrome in Northampton to check out the various different rides on offer at the amusement park that's located as part of the holiday park. I share on ride POV's from the various different rides on offer including a junior coaster, ferris wheel and many more different attractions. I also take a ride on the train around the lake and talk more about the other attractions located at the holiday park.

I've been to this place one weekend a year on maybe 8 or 9 different years. My Dad would come here for the car shows they used to have, and I eventually came along for the ride when I heard about the funfair and pool. I sadly haven't been for a few years because there hasn't been a car show. I think the last time I was there was maybe a year before you made this video. Some of the sounds from the rides and amusements are burned into my head. 😄
This place looks really nice at night because of all the lights on the rides. I hope I can go back one day!
I spent over 25 years at Billing aqaudrpme. My parents had a static caravan and boat in the Marina lake. Made so .any friends, knew all the people that ran the rides. Miss the fact that Millers arcade has gone, and it looks like they've shuffled everything up to one end. Lost my virginity in kingfisher meadow fields 28 years ago 😆
Some wonderful memories at Billing.....sadly it looks like a lot of amusements and rides have gone.

We visited here a lot when I was younger with my parents and our touring caravan. It was a great fishing holiday
HIIII!!!!! I am from northampton!!!!! Idk when theme park worldwide started but before u visited billing was huge!!!!! The fair was massive! It had the train ride going through the fair it had the Twister it had a waltzer, dodgems, trampolines, 2 rollercoasters, drop tower, ferris wheel and loads of food stalls, games stalls and arcades too! Unfortunately due to the flooding billing couldn't afford to constantly remove the rides and build them back up again so the owner sold many rides to help build the train ride again and to buy new rides. The waltzer remained tho but got removed in 2010 due to older kids coming in and messing around and making other family's not want to visit. So to keep everyone safe the fair turned into a family attraction not thrill attractions so that family's could enjoy it more. I really miss the old fair. DAMM KIDS!!! BLOODY GROW UP!
Oh and also on the site of the paratrooper, there was a matterhorn. But it never opened due to some idiot kids going in to the fair and running all the rides by themselves! They cut the main power supply on the matterhorn and wrecked the fair. I hate the way kids are nowadays back in my day kids wouldn't dare of done that!!!!!

I was there a year ago with my dads side of the family for the weekend as an early birthday weekend for my grandfather! It was a rare one as we had all 11 grandkids there (im the middle one at number 6 and youngest girl)

I remember going on a weekend break here when I was a child. They used to have an awesome Himalaya ride called ‘Terminator’.

I used to holiday here as a kid! It used to be so much better with loads of shops and an outdoor pool!

The willow show bar is actually a pub and gets very crowded in there. I know his because my dad has lived there for 5 years now

The go karts got removed as to the owner of them didn't pay his rent so had to be kicked out. Billing is also a residential area people live in those caravans on plots of land it is really nice you know very pretty

Also I went on the helicopter ride twice once because there was a event on and they came on my second round we got to stay on

I used to go to this place every weekend throughout the year when I was growing up as we had a touring van. It was such a big funfair with the train track going through the middle. I visited it recently and I was disappointed as nothing like it used to be. Hardly any space for touring vans it’s now all residents homes. Most of fun fair has been removed and only a few rides and only one arcade as there used to be about 5 in the fairground. Used to have indoor market, food places and two or three chip shops. All sorts of different events etc. But sadly that’s all gone now and some of the buildings not even being used. So sad as it used to be an awesome place. Such a shame it’s changed so much and in my eyes not for the best 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I’d advise you to visit Tripadvisor before you visit Billing aquadrome , I grew up in Northampton and spent a week at BA in 1976 with my girlfriend 😊and it was good there then , I often went to the car shows that were held there, but thing have gone downhill since those halcyon days,
